Hiya. Welcome to WW 28: Vampere! This is a game about Vampires, whom have been grabbed from The Vampire Chronicles by Anne Rice. Please follow the rules and have loads of fun!

Rules:
Titles:

Since this is a game concerning Vampires, and to be as accurate as possible; the titles of the cycle have been changed. However don't forget that everything is subjected to poetic license. :P

Traditional Day = Night. You will be placing your votes during the Night time and Execution will occur right before the fictional sun begins to rise.

Traditional Night = Day. As in this setting, Vampires (unless ancient) avoid the sun unless they are having a bout of suicide. This is when the dreams, killings, and all things sinister will occur.


Execution:

Each day you will vote for a player to be executed.

1) There is proper voting etiquette:

Vote: Player Q

If you wish to unvote do so like this:

Unvote: Player Q
Vote: Player H

2) You only get one vote per cycle.
3) You don’t have to vote; but voting is one of the more powerful tools that are at your disposal to eliminate fellow players from the game.
4) A majority decides execution; at least 51% of the votes of all living players is considered a majority.
5) Execution will do 100 points of damage.


List Related Activities:

Things tend to happen during the game, which involve a list. Most of the more sinister events that occur will happen during the daytime.

1) If you have a list, try to submit it in an orderly and comprehensible fashion please. It makes it easier to sort through things.
2) Submit your lists accordingly; and everything should run smoothly.
3) You may miss sending in no more than two lists consecutively. After that your shield will deplete; and you may find yourself either replaced or mod-killed.


Unmentionables:

1) Please refrain from quoting in any fashion what you receive from me in private. This includes Role Sheets. You may share the information, just not word for word.
2) Please refrain from quoting what others have told you in private as well. No cut/pasting either.
3) If you have teammates; do not reveal them or their roles. I doubt they will look kindly upon it.
4) If you have a question, feel free to ask.

Eliminated People:

1) If have been eliminated, then you are d-e-d dead. Try to stay that way; it is a bit creepy when you find corpses wandering around when they shouldn’t be.
2) Please refrain from conversing with living players through PM’s.
3) If you received new information before you died, and didn’t have a chance to pass it along; then it must stay that way. You must take it with you to your grave; or wait until the game is over.
4) Please refrain from talking about and hinting at information, which you possess which has not been publicly revealed by a living player.
5) You may quote from the game thread; and the living may quote from the eliminated people thread.


Protection:

1) Otherwise referred to as a shield.
2) If your shield drops to zero, then you die; simple enough.
3) Damage:
Execution- 100 points
Night Attacks- 70 points
Day Attacks- 60 points

Fun Factor:

This is a game, so try to have fun. People will lie to you and in some cases stab you in the back.. or the front; don’t take it personally.

Night will end @ 3pm PST.
Execution will follow.
Lists are due by 3pm PST.
Day will end @ 4pm PST.

Prologue:

The encroaching darkness was inevitable, and lit the horizon ablaze with hues of red and purple as it forced the sun to retreat along its path.

Her eyelids flickered open as the cooling touch of darkness caressed her face.
Awaken, it is time.

She rose from her perch on the rock outcropping and turned to face the forest. Her .. friends.. would be stirring in their respective sleeping preferences and the last thing she wanted, was to be caught unaware out in the night, ..alone. She wasn't afraid of them, for she could stroll underneath the shining sun, without direct risk to her own life. Yet she suspected there were a few who could take brief excursions beneath the light of day and survive intact. She understood their stories, their desires, as well as their .. needs.

She gazed up into the sky as she walked amongst the ancient trees.. and she felt small. Even though she felt most at home amid them, their collective age was quite staggering... it made her feel young again.. and reminded her of how much she had yet to live and to witness.

The dark stone which was the massive structure loomed out of the darkness, as she cleared the edge of the trees. Her gaze flicked over it as she headed directly for her private entrance.

As she emerged from the stark hallway, she was greeted by another stone wall. Yet this stone was that of the mind. She couldn't help the small smile which crept across her face.

Listen to me.

There was the slightest perception of aquiescence from the group of creatures assembled around the circular room.

I have called you all here for a singular purpose. There are those among us in this very room who would see to the destruction of us all. I can not allow that to happen, for both selfish and communal reasons. I have perceived of this threat through flickers of dreams and thoughts from our collective. I do not possess the knowledge to isolate the ones who wish such a mass destruction of our kind, yet I know they are here... for they have answered my call. You have all been given a specific task to help weed out and destroy such creatures... I can only interfere when you've come together as a collective and chosen to destroy another.. that is all I can do. You all know what to do, I bid you success.

She flicked her gaze upon each alabastar face as she strolled across the room and disappeared inside another stone hallway.
