Im not exactly sure what to do. I just click to play..the scarab falls and a message pops up "it's back in Quasalan..your no help" That makes me pretty depressed. Is it just random?..is there something I am missing that i should be clicking or pressing? Im soo confused.

I believe it is randomness mixed with a bit of luck.

This game reminds me of Bagatelle (sp?) in the Haunted Woods.

I've gotten the 'You're no help!' reply, a free item, and a few NPs the three times I have played, and I haven't done anything different those times.

So don't worry; I don't think you're doing anything wrong. Your luck should show up pretty soon. =) GL

Location: Watching little birds fly kamikaze missions into the walls.
The Qasalan Expellibox is completely random. You just click when the screen loads and watch where the scarab falls. Sometimes the scarab will land on an X which means nothing happens, sometimes the scarab will land on a space where you'll get a desert food or something similar, and if you're really lucky, the scarab will land in a space that gives you NeoCash.
