cherrylimeade: Question. Is this Celinox a Neopet you are trying to adopt? Not to discourage you, but there are special forums for all Neopet related items. These forums can be found Here. If this is NOT indeed a neopet you are trying to adopt then I sincerely appologize. I just don't want you to get in trouble in the near future.

Buuuut, to answer your question: I must say that I am in agreement with Sigh. That type of message clearly means what it states; the pet does not exist. Therefore, you / your friend must have done one of two things (if you were transfering the pet): 1. Mispelled the pets name or 2. Lost the pet in the transfering process.

I've learned that in the adopting / transfering process it is a good idea to go to the pets lookup and highlight the pets name (this is for whomever is doing the adopting) and copy/paste it into the search engine. This will guarantee that you don't mispell the pet's name, therefore losing it in the transfering process.

We all know how sticky fingered and greedy some Neopians are, and they won't always give the pet back if it is lost.

I think adopting a pet is the same as creating it, no? Perhaps it's just an error on the site? (I was hit with so many that I never bothered playing Subeta for long.) The only other thing I can think of is Sigh's suggestion of a space.

Allykins: this has nothing to do with Neopets, and posting it under the Neopets section would be even more off topic. That being said, the mods are for the most part caring, kind, and (although I'm not one) would probably not land anyone in trouble over something like this.
