Running into door frames instead of walking thru them.
Once, I was waving a pen around while talking, only to have it go up my nose. It actually stabbed me and caused me to have a bloody nose.
Can't tell you how many times I've run into the side of the door! Actually get bruises...hehe. Maybe I should get my vision checked out?

I think it's normal, or at least I hope so. I hit doorframes and corners with my hips all the time, and ran into a high desk corner with my ribs. Apparently my bones have a vendetta against wooden points.

I do that too. I think I have a permanent bruise on my left hip because it seems to hit door frames and corners of counters and tables so often.

Re: Stupid Things You've Done and want to Share with the World
I was ogling a girl once and walked into a tree.
It was worth it.
I broke my ankle getting out of a car - there were four of us wedged into a 3-person back seat, so my leg and foot fell asleep. When I stumbled out, I had my foot pointed too far out and I broke the bone of the foot immediately below the tibia (the talus, if you must know). I felt it pop, and said, "I think I broke my ankle - let me check," and took off running down the parking garage and leapt over a barrier, landing on the afflicted foot. It didn't hurt, so I assumed I was fine. Until I woke up at 2 AM with my ankle swollen to the size of a softball.
I left PPT open a few years ago and a kid in my office came in and typed some very nasty things and insulted a lot of people.

I will be talking about someone and I don't realize that they are only 15 feet away. Very unwise.

I do that all the time.
Except I tend to start up again when I realise they are there.
My ideal of "I say everything to your face that I say behind your back" is an honest one, but a dumb one.

I make horrible horrible jokes. I've called my boss a homicidal maniac. My nickname for my boyfriend is "Jerkface." It's pretty routine for me to say, "No you weren't, you liar," whenever people start telling anecdotes around me. I'm not entirely sure if people know I'm joking when I do stuff like that. Oh well.
The funny part is, I only avoid those kinds of jokes with two groups of people--the ones I'm afraid I'll offend, and the ones I don't like.

Re: Stupid Things You've Done and want to Share with the World
I do alot of stupid junk...but I say even stupider things. They call these having a "bree moment"...because I do them so regularly.
such things include:
tripping over my own feet while walking
running into walls because I walk crooked
not being able to eat w.o wearing my food
& the most famous idiot move of mine:
when I was a kid I thought ice skating and roller blading were kind of the same thing...so I found an ice patch outside and tried to roller blade on it. I cracked my head open and had to have a plastic plate inserted where bits of my skull chipped off. I also have slight nerve damage. Worst part? I was in like 4th grade.

OMG! *dies* No way! I ending up wearing food. This is the dumbest thing though: Lugged my stupidely heavy art sketchbook, supplies, and wood blocks to school, before realising I didn't have Materials or Art that day. Tripping over the same stool three times. Running to catch the bus when there was another one of the same kind a while behind it. Etc.
I don't exist. omo

Re: Stupid Things You've Done and want to Share with the World
I'm not sure whether I should be sharing these things with the world as most of my RL friends laugh at me for them already but here goes...
I once dislocated my elbow. My friends convinced me that the potassium in bananas would help my joints so I let them rub banana on my elbow.
The other day, there was a little old man staring in at my neighbours window for about half an hour, not moving. I got seriously creeped out. I thought about calling the police but instead, leaned out of the window and yelled at him. Turns out, creepy old man was a bush.
In P.E. when I was still in school, we had trampolining. Earlier in the day, I'd pulled my dance trousers straight out of the dryer to wear for the lesson. So I'm first on the trampoline, bouncing away and then I spot a hair bobble lying on the trampoline. I hold it up and shout to the gym asking who did it belong to. Turns out, it was the smallest pair of underwear I own, someone could've flossed their teeth with it. It was around the school in around about 30 seconds.
Once, I misread the instructions for some fake tan. I ended up looking like an oompa loompa. Except with tan lines...

It's coming...

I was called many names that day.

Re: Stupid Things You've Done and want to Share with the World
lol I occasionally fall while standing still, just all of a sudden.
Once my family and I were driving around the town and I saw this adorable creature outside. I pointed out the window and said, "Look at the cute bird!" They looked, but did not see the bird. I pointed again and said, "Right there, the bird. Look at the cute bird!" They looked all over and still did not see a bird. This went on several more times and I got very frustrated. Finally, someone said, "Do you mean that right there?" . . .
It was a poodle.
I was like 16. ;_; *brain fart* I knew it was a dog, but for some reason, "bird" just kept coming out. I was ridiculed about that for quite some time. lol

Remember kids, aphasia can affect even the young. So don't point and laugh until you're sure they haven't suffered any recent brain damage.
Then laugh all you like.
