Yeh, but who's to say we'd be forewarned enough to pull our money out - BOOM etc crashed without warning. If they did it, we wouldnt know about it until it had already happened.
The Stock Market crashed a long time ago and it was horrifying. My memory isn't too sharp but it must have been 6 1/2 - 7 years since it happened.
If I recall correctly it was fairly late in the evening. I just happened to check my stocks, panicked when I saw that the prices were falling rapidly, posted a warning in my guild and sold everything. Unfortunately some of my stocks went bankrupt before I could sell them. Losing 100K back then was a big deal and I stayed away from the Market until last year.
I've been playing the stockmarket forever- and I can think of at least twice, maybe 3 times that I had one specific stock die and selling price change to 0 np.
