Why did you join PPT?

I think I was invited to some AIM chat ( ) by one of my friends a few years ago, and all of the people there were members of PPT and kept talking about it, so I got curious and joined.

She skipped out that whole 'Neopets' bit, I think.

I remember lurking for ages, then joining...this must be going back at least to 2003, if not 2002? I think I joined neo in 2001, don't know how long it was before I drifted over here. As if I can remember that far back.

And now I've mostly drifted away, but I'm trying to stop that now. See, I am posting!

After five years of being here...I don't think I remember.
I think it was because I was originally on NeoChatter, and then it went down so I went to PPT. XD

I go back to the actual PinkPoogleToy.com url too. I had the personality quiz on all my pet's websites. x)

I originally used pinkpoogletoy.com for Faerie Crossword answers (when they were all in an alphabetical list, not in the form of a news post every day). Then I lost it for a while because the URL changed.

Yeah, i found it looking for Crossword answers, way back when it was pinkpoogletoy That woulda still been a couple years after i started neo lol.

I joined PPT back when I played that online game. I can't remember what it was called now. Now I just stay for the forums!

Well, it was at least... '03 or '02, don't remember exactly, but I'm pretty sure I found it using the Wonders of Google looking for help on something Neopets related in, like, 2001, and then I joined the forums later.

I, too, remember the trauma of not being able to find the URL for months when switching from pinkpoogletoy.com. Or maybe it was some other web address after that? Anyway, I remember when we were on pinkpoogletoy.com. Perhaps I joined then.

I popped up when I was a seven-year-old Neopets addict. I liked the site, didn't really know how to use forums at that point but wanted to try (my sister was doing it, anyway, it must be cool! ... so my seven-year-old self thought... little did I know that my sister would get into a series of failed internet relationships eventually leading to some delicious stalking, and she still did not learn her lesson), and loved Neopets and wanted to find others with like minds.

So I joined. It was my first forum ever. I made ten posts in my first day. This was back when global moderators were not super moderators, we used YaBB instead of phpBB, Chromefox was still here, Fiddelysquat was like twelve or thirteen, PINKPOOGLETOY.COM, among other things.
