I hardly ever spend money and I play lots of games. Most of my pet's stats are from Wheel of Excitement and Coltzan's Shrine, which along with the games I play almost every day. I've been of Neopets for about 18 months and my secret for saving is play as often as you can and deposit at least 5k every time. I limit myself to spending no more than 100k a month except for the PB's Tarla gives away. I also have the Tarla toolbar which helps me, so I can buy whatever she gives away cheap and sell at least a month later.

My plan is to get to 16 mil and then start training my pet. I was waiting for a plot and now that there is one I will be spending at least 6 mil, if not more on training. I'm hoping for a full-out war.

It'll probably be cheaper to wait until the war is over and the inflation dies down. There hasn't even been an official mention of any battling and codestones prices are already creeping upward, more than usual. (For me that's a good thing - I put all the codestones I find year-round in my SDB until a war is announced and sell for profit++ )

On topic, I think I just squeaked by 14.6 in the bank.

yeah...if I had more time to play games and hadn't splurged a couple of times (Christmas killed me...I bought a couple of extravagent gifts for neofriends), I'd probably be up there too...
