*faint* *wake up* *faint* *wake up* ROBOT PAINT BRUSH THINGY MAYBE????

Someone go test one of those and tell me it's too good to be true!!! I've been zapping my pet for FOUR YEARS trying to get a Robot Lupe! *faint*

Edit: Looks as if they planned it so no matter what, it is only possible to get one per person who played, if that. I predict that thing becoming worth quite a pretty penny in that case.

Editagain: I'm an idiot, it says no trade. I STILL WANTS ITSSSSSSS

Editagainagain: Hydroslothic Acid Toothpaste. xD

*blinks* I think this is the first time I've had enough points in a plot to get the top prize... but is that what i want?! Do I will i ever want a robot pet? Since it says that its a no trade item its not something i will be able to eventually sell...... should i get something else and maybe make a profit at some later point? ahh i dont know *whimper*

Someone wanna give out some opinions here when they wrap there mind around it all? i'm not very good with this stuff lol

edit: JN has a list of the new look robot pets here: http://www.jellyneo.net/index.php?go=ne ... olor=robot

I dont know if PPT has it listed anywheres o.o

Not sure what to do with my plot points yet......... I have a LOT of points, considering the fact that a robot zapper thingie is useless to me. But I'm concerned about the fact that all of the weapons are so VERY cheap. (Seriously, top weapon, 25k points. Almost anyone can have one.) The prizes are all cool, but I really hope at least one weapon is worth the price....... otherwise I shall have to invest in books instead.

*Edit* I just tested out my new lookup......... Wow. Absolutely stunning. <3

Ylanas Blaster does a constant 13 according to IDB. That's actually pretty good for an easy amount of points, but we don't know where the price will settle yet. I can't get one if I get a Robot Whatsitmajig, I wonder what the Exceptionally Tiny Laser Cannon (xD) does?

Edit: Control Rod Apparatus does 6, Exceptionally Tiny Laser Cannon does 8 ( :( ) See IDB for details.

What I want to know is can I give the Robot gun thingy to a side account to use on one of my pets there? I assume not, which reeks immensely because I'm not interested in robot-ifying any of my main pets.

I'm going to wait a little while, see what the wearables look like, wait for prices to level out, etc. before I use my points on anything. It's nice that the plot prizes were released this quickly, though.

The robot gun is a no trade item - it cannot be sent to any other account or sold.

You could always wait until the pound's back and do some pet swapping :)

Why would the robot zapper thing be "no trade?" What other no trade items are there, in general?

I guess I need to find out if my pets can be robotified.

Assuming it'll even be worth the risk when the pound's reopened. >_>

(Actually, that's almost certainly what I'm going to do. Now to pick the pet....)

And I'm stupid. I knew it said "no trade" but for some reason I thought that restricted it from being sold. I took a mini break from Neo for a few months and came back around in time for the plot, so I've forgotten simple little details like this. :P

Arka: I know the cash mall clothes and paint brush items (like Halloween costumes and Mystery Island jewelery) and a handful of Altador Plot items are no trade, but I too can't imagine why this isn't no trade. It's just like a paint brush or a morphing potion; I'm not sure why TNT feels it has to be treated differently than that.

I think TNT did not want to make a Robot Paintbrush - it is Lab colour only. If they made the gun tradable it would become unbuyable in an instant - people would hoard them and only sell them for millions.

This way - it is obtainable and usable by the person who has points to buy it and it doesn't interfere with the Neopian economy or the rarity of the paint job.

Hey, I'm not really sure what to buy. Should I buy the most expensive thing (not the robot thing) and hope to sell them for a nice profit later?

Ok, that has to be one of the more hilarious things during this whole ordeal.

Normally, I'm in the same bad shape, but I did manage to get the Makeshift Ships Hammer in the Lost Island plot, and I think that was the top prize (yes/no?) But that was only because of the sharing of info here, so I learned my lesson well!! Thanks to everyone for the info-share, and let's hope TNT thinks things through more next time. I feel bad for those who used the calculator and got frozen for something TNT could have anticipated.

I'm not sure what to go for...thoughts? I got 52,000+ points to spend. I'm thinking that the Blaster is my best bet, but this Robot thingy sounds too good to pass up. I seriously doubt this kind of opportunity will come around again for a very very long time

:o :o :o Oh my, oh wow! I certainly never excepted them to release it o April fool's day *looks suspicious*. I certainly wasn't really expecting a robot paint brush/zappy thingy, most people were speculating about trans potions!

I guess making it non-tradable will make sure only people who not only participated, but did enough to earn at least 45,000 points gets a chance to turn their pets robot. Can't buy it with pure neopoints :).

I only have about 59,000, so if i buy the robot zappy thingy I can't get much else either...I'm going sit and wait till prizes stablise and IDB has tested the weapons more fully. *Hides from temption to start using plot points*

edit: I like most of the plot prizes, but I think it would have been perfect if they could replace the buzzler with a Yurbot petpet :P
