I've received blocks of text like that before though - no idea why, but it typically appears on whereis.com.au - although I've never found it's been a problem apart from the o.O factor.

Well, the "<!--" is gone now, just fixed that up.

That final opening comment tag was intentional: it blocks more sinister stuff that periodically appears at the end of PPT pages.
