Stupid Things You've Done and want to Share with the World

This was actually someone else, but it's too good not to share.
Today Pudding and I and our moms went to a movie(Baby Mama--it's fun, everyone go see it). While we were in the theater lobby, this older man came up to my mom, and asked her for some help. One of the children with him had her dress up over her head and it was about half-on. "I've tried to get this thing on her ten times, and I just can't do it," he said.
Mom went ahead and figured it out(it was probably the crossed straps that were confusing him). As she was working the little girl's arms up through the dress, she said, "Don't feel too bad. These things require an engineering degree to figure out."
"I have an engineering degree," he said.

Yesterday, when I discovered a hole in the bottom of my backpack, I decided that the best thing to do would be to see how much of my hand I could stick through the whole. So I did, and it ripped from something about the third the size of a credit card to, well, the size of my hand.

Not the smartest thing to do with a full backpack.

A couple of years ago I just got off the train on my way home from TAFE. Anyway going through some automatic doors to go down a ramp to the buses area, something must've happened next to the train station, and i suddenly turned and wacked myself hard on the metal edge of the door. I had a huge lump on my head to prove it. I probably had concussion too. Trust me, I highly reccommend not doing that.

I have now managed to hit my head while exiting the bus three times -- I'm only 5'9" (which is tall for a woman, but only the average for adult men here), so I feel that I shouldn't have to stoop when exiting the bus. Of course, you'd think I'd have learned my lesson the first time I hit my head!

After pulling an all-nighter, I partook in my school's last-day-of-classes party... and made a bit of a fool of myself and one of my guy friends. There'd been rumors about the two of us being an item about a month ago, and I found out right before the party that the rumors were still going around. So in my sleep-deprived, intoxicated state, I decided to show people how dumb the rumors were by flirting with him in front of the whole school (stealing his hat, etc.). I can't remember why I thought that was a good idea, but it made sense to me at the time and was an active decision on my part... Fortunately, I just have two exams to take, and then everyone's off for summer internships. I hope the rumor will finally die; maybe if I meet a nice guy over the summer, it won't even matter anymore.

(And yes, I will be 30 this year. I should be old enough to know better...)

I'm 5'8" and I'm only 14! Still growing though
I've still managed to hit my head on a number of things too. I've definitely whacked my head while exiting and entering an airplane. Not fun.

What's even worse is when all the cabin crew and even the pilots know who you are too. >.<
Yeh, having a dad who controls all the crew's housing and lives makes me a known person....so it's horrifying when I hear stories go around about how much of a Klutz I am. Especially when I hear said stories from people I've only just met. *grumble*

So, today i was standing up, leanign against my desk in chemistry class talking to some of my friends, I go to cross one foot over the other and somehow manage to nearly knock my own feet out from under me. That was after i tried to turn the sink off by turning the knob the wrong way.

One of my friends today said "Texas is only the second largest state in Florida...i was the only one who caught that. lol.

Well, this one's not my own stupidity moment...

Mom: There should be something to connect the phone to its thing, like some sort of wire, or anything to make sure it doesn't get lost.
Me: ...That would be a cord.
Mom: Exactly. Something like that.
Me: ...But that would completely defeat the purpose of a cordless phone.

Also, once I was typing the word "crowd", but it came out as "cows". The keyboard was hostile unfamiliar, but still.

I'm just racking them up lately.
Today, i wore a new shirt with sleeves that come down a bit above my elbows. This is longer than i'm used to, so when i got cold in one of my classes today I thought "i'll just roll down my sleeves" and reached up to roll them down. Yea, didnt work so well.
My friend did say I made her day by doign that though.
