Utterly unmotivated. I don't feel like doing anything...there's some things I want to do, but I also don't want to do them. After procrastinating almost all day (every day), I can force myself to do some of my homework, but not all of it, which is weird because I have rarely skimped on homework before lately. I just don't want to do anything except hang around...so that's how I feel.

Sick as a dog with a cold. Seriously. I caught a cough/sore throat from my little brother's fiance when I visited them last week. And today was the first day of my summer internship! At least I have a pretty cool project to work on all summer, so I guess I'm excited, too. And sick of being sick so I can explore my summertown.

Holy crap hot as heck.

It's 95, plus humid (like 95% humidity or more)...so it feels like it's over 100F. I can take heat, it's humidity that kills me.

Oh, and I have no air conditioning.

Soo...I'm feeling hot and grumpy.

I spent the hottest summer (most days over 100 ever for Charlottesville) in an attic room with no AC, so I can sympathize. We had a box fan to draw air in from the shaded, north side of the house, a ceiling fan to circulate the air, and a box fan in the south window to blow the hot air out. We'd also mist our top sheets with water and stick 'em in the freezer until bed time (and take an icy shower right beforehand, too). Hope it cools off for you soon!

I shouldn't be hearing anyone but myself complain about heat. This summer it's expected to get to 50C and over where i live plus at this very moment it at something like 100% humidity seeing as I live in one of the few places in the world which manages to actually reach searing death inducing heat waves.
It's currently at 41C and thats what we are now considering a cooler day.

Other than boiling to death since my AC is broken down and ventilation in houses here isnt at best, I feel creative yet so very weak....
