Yep, you have to view it in non-Portal mode. I was having the same thing happen until I turned the Portal off.

Has anyone seen the new NC mall neohome items on jellyneo and sunnyneo? They're really nice.

What do you guys think about the point that tnt is expanding the NC mall to neohomes as well?

Personally, I don't mind paying for neopets products. I play lots of neopets and it's fair that you give them some sort of compensation for keeping the site up and running for us to play. But I do really hope that it isn't too expensive and that they'll release lots of np furni for V2.0 too. It would be great if you could buy the furniture in sets, like superpacks, and you don't have to buy each item for 100-200 NC each.

I also wonder what would happen to classic neohomes? Are they going to stay? (they could be deleted when neohome V2.0 comes out of beta). Are new items still going to be released? Etc...

"The game" referring to what? It's not like all of Neopets has one specific goal.

Some petsites have a use for their homes. For instance pets can get tired and need to go to their home to sleep. I think that's what Kym means. :)

Beta testers can now see the NC mall furniture (but can't buy them yet). Most items are around 150-250, some up to 500 NC. I wonder if (when you can buy the items) we can use them multiple times in our home. For instance, a window costs 250 NC. It would be a bit bla if you'd have to buy a window like 6 times (same for items like doors and fencing).

I am a bit surprised at the cost of the neocash furniture. It seems just too high, to be honest. Especially if you start adding up what it would take to furnish something. Even if you pick and choose though, if it came down to a chair or an outfit, I would personally go with the outfit. Hopefully with Beta feedback they will re-consider the cost, but I highly doubt it.

Yes, that freaked me out. I closed it and did not enter anything. I am shocked its still not fixed, you would think they might have received hundreds of pieces of mail from people wondering if their account is compromised.

Yeah, prices are a bit steep. Especially if you'd want a full set of something. I would love to have all the krawk island furniture, but it all adds up to around 2200 NC (over 20 dollars!) and that's just if you get one of everything. It would help if you'd be able to use the items multiple times in your neohome.

I also hope TNT releases the option to add more rooms or make walls in the home.
