Again Beauty and the Beast. :)

I always disliked Pinocchio as a child..I think it was mainly because I saw the version with Jonathan Taylor Thomas, which scared the heck outta me (I don't remember why). That;s kind of given me a dislike for the story and any Pinocchio movie in general.

Oh! Idea! In the previous competitors list...maybe you can list both movies in the round, and bold which one won (or show the percentage of votes for each). I'd be nice to see what's been up against what, and which movie came out on top. :)

Beauty and the Beast again because it's a pretty story and puppets coming to life is creepy. :)

Pinnochio was beyond creepy. The kids turning into donkey's = messed up.

B&TB for the win!

Beauty and the Beast, a romantic and magical story, what is not to like about it?

Belle also had own Dinsey show which was called Sing Along with Belle.

Disney's Pinocchio was the best version of Pinocchio but it was nowhere as good as B&TB.

The one where Pinocchio's hair is blue (instead of black) and IIRC Pinocchio's father gets turned into a puppet in it is known as Kashi_no_Ki_Mokku (aka Saban's Adventures of Pinocchio). The series has a distinctly sadistic theme and portrays the main character, Pinocchio (Mokku), as suffering from constant physical and psychological abuse and freak accidents. Click to see the intro of the song.

In one episode, Pinocchio's friend drowns. Another, a cruel puppet master tortures Pinocchio and throws his friends into the fire. Another episode, Pinocchio turns into an ice cube. (Well, he's frozen.) Yeah, it's morbid.

I remember watching it back when it used to be on BBC TV over here in the UK. Not sure if Jonathan Taylor Thomas version is worse than that since I haven't seen the Jonathan Taylor Thomas version.
