I don't think "numpties" is a word in any language.

It is British slang, predominately used in Scotland and the North of England (where I am from.) Is that OK? Am I allowed to use slang?

I met Robbie Williams.. like... loads of times.
He comes from my town, and his nephew used to go to the same nursery as my sister. He always came down in a giant helicopter to pick him up, so I talked to him quite a few times. Weird, but true xD

Thank you, Secret Santa!
I wonder who that was...?

Like Alex, I've also met heaps of AFL players- including Ben Cousins
One thing I forgot to mention earlier was that during the mid-90s, members of the Indian Cricket came to our home for lunch

But on a side note, I'm so freaking jealous.
Criss Angel = my hero (right next to Stephen Colbert and Jim Cramer).

I met the Decemberists and Carson Ellis.
My uncle used to be BFF for L with Tim Burton. He used to do some set designs for him. After my uncle retired from set designing Tim asked him if he wanted to work on Big Fish with him. My uncle turned him down.
To this day I don't understand how you can tell Tim freakin' Burton no.

Easily. You're not interested in the project, or you have no inspiration for it. Tim Burton to your Uncle is probably just another friend. Not some famous guy if he's that close of friends with him.unspecialfish wrote:I met the Decemberists and Carson Ellis.

Evisceration is a sign of respect.
