For anyone new to Valenth, I'll briefly explain about 'rigging'. I had it explained to me by Twizz too, but because it doesn't seem to be listed anywhere (at least not in this thread), it might be useful to have this posted publicly.
Basically, each Valenth creature has 5 forms: the Alpha form (the one you start out with), the Beta form (the one your creature evolves into upon reaching lvl. 101), and one of three different Omega forms (the one your creature evolves into upon reaching lvl. 501). The three different Omega forms are lawful, neutral, and chaotic.
The thing is, the Omega form your creature evolves into is based on what food your creature has been fed. If it has been fed mostly 'lawful' food (all left food), it will become a lawful Omega. Mostly Neutral (center), a Neutral Omega, and mostly chaotic (right), a chaotic Omega.
A normal Valenth code looks like this (the 'Feed Me' text part between the <br>'s is already removed):

Code: Select all

Now, you can rig this code so that anyone who feeds it will automatically feed it a certain food. Let's rig this one so that it is automatically fed a Sundrop each time (a lawful food, so it will evolve into a lawful Omega)

Code: Select all

Notice where it says /Sundrop after the first series of numbers. This creature will now be fed a Sundrop each time someone feeds it (... through this link. If you have a link to this creature that is not rigged or rigged to another food, it will not be automatically fed a Sundrop).

If you want to rig a food that has spaces in it's name (Sparkling Water, Buttercreme Bar, ...) just put a + where the space is. Let's rig it to a Balance Elixir this time, a Neutral food, meaning it will eventually evolve into a Neutral Omega.

Code: Select all

This is also why many players take three or even four creatures of each kind. They rig one of each kind to a Lawful, Neutral, and Chaotic food, so that in the end, they will have a Lawful, Neutral, and Chaotic Omega of each kind. The (possible) fourth is because some players like to permanently have a Beta version of each kind as well. They do this by buying an item called an Alchemy Stone for 5000 Krüs (Valenth currency, received when you feed your own or others' creatures). This item halts any further development of your creature. It can still level up, but a creature in Beta form that reaches level 501 will not evolve into an Omega, but will remain a Beta.

I made Jas' Prrb evolve. I feel like such a good person. :P Congrats, Jas.

Oooh, I just read adoptable trading should be up by the end of the year. Hopefully I can get my hands on a Kumos!

Is that one of the pets whose eggs where all destroyed in the plot? I don't really follow the plot, but I heard someone referring to it in the Help section. Can someone actually tell me what pets I am currently missing out on? I know I missed the Halloween ones, hopefully they'll return next year, like Dragoncave's seasonal eggs. But the only other ones I know from the to of my head are the Imps and the Lapsworgs. I'm actually confused whether the Lapsworgs are still available. I know you can only get them when your total pets' levels exceed 5000 (I think it was), but I thought I heard someone say they weren't available at all anymore. Jas seem to have a few interesting-looking Alpha's in her line-up as well.

I don't follow the plot at all, but thankfully I do play Subeta. The Kumos is a pet on Subeta, the mascot pet, really. The owner of Subeta, Keith, and the head artist there, DNA, also run Valenth if I'm not mistaken (I'm not sure which does). To celebrate the grand opening of Valenth, if I recall, you could adopt a Kumos Valenth.

I think Lapsworgs are still about. They previously showed up under special for everyone, but now they just show up there when you actually achieve the goal of 5000 clicks.

The adoptables cycle around, occasionally, so some aren't adoptable now but will be in the future. There's a thread in help, the FAQ, that contains answers to... all common questions, as you'd expect, with pictures of each of the alphas, beta and omegas and also says which are about, and which aren't.

*overly complicated answer*

The help thread is here:

Heh, I want quite a few of the pets to cycle around... MercurialLeupak for the lawful. All the bloodhawks are awesome. I like the lawful and neutral Chromaleupaks. Beta, Neutral and Chaotic Waterwings... and maybe a couple of imps.

This is why I check the adopt page every day. XD

Edit: New adoptable out, the Ochy. I don't really like it. :( It turns into an otter.

... okay okay.

THE BETA FORM IS CUUUTE.

*adopts*

Cute indeed :)

*has interest in Valenth slightly stirred again and immediately adopts 4 of them*

Thanks for letting me know! I was waiting for a new adoptable.
