Night Scene, Night 12--
Twizzler had both the earplugs AND night mask on tonight, but she had forgotten the peskiness of Syrill. Once the noise started to get a little loud, he once again woke her up.
Twizzler grumbled, reached into her bag, and pulled out a pair of earmuffs. “HERE,” she said angrily, shoving them towards Syrill. “Take these – and don't wake me up again! Argh!”
Knowing that Syrill wouldn't even think of using them until Twizzler dealt with things, Twizzler stepped lightly out of the tent. Angrily, she left it open. She walked out in a huff – and ran into pipsqueeek. They immediately began a nice conversation, but were interrupted by the noise of someone beginning to sneeze.
“AAH. AAH. AAH --”
Twizzler recognized that sneeze.
“Oh no! Pipsqueeek, get down!” Twizzler shouted, immediately ducking and taking cover.
Pipsqueeek was a bit slow, though. At the sound of the “CHOO!” and the proceeding burst of flame, she had just barely begun to duck. Unfortunately, that meant her whole body was covered in flame. Not knowing what else to do, she just stood there – ignoring Twizzler's pleas to stop, drop, and roll.
After a moment, the flame burned itself out – leaving pipsqueeek a mere pile of ashes. Twizzler just stood there in amazement, and watched as a thin whisp of smoke turned itself into a man, who seemed to be working on something with his hammer.
“Enki! Do this! Enki! Make that! Make, make, make!” the man muttered angrily, and then floated off towards the Book of Myths.
Twizzler shrugged and began looking for a broom to sweep up the lovely ash-pile of pipsqueeek. Instead, she found Miyu. As she began to ask Miyu if she had seen a broom, a bright light flashed, almost blinding them both. It, however, revealed the moving root of an apple tree – and Miyu had been about to step on it. Miyu quickly leaped to the side, just in time to avoid the apple branches that appeared immediately afterwards and began making tickling motions. Miyu and Twizzler just stared.
“Weird.”
At that moment, a wild and crazy tune started up in the air – and Miyu looked to see Pickles returning, dancing a jig as she did so. Twizzler looked to see who was following the music this time – only to see Syrill joyfully tossing his earmuffs in the air as he walked along, yelling to anyone in sight that it was finally his turn to go visit the Sirens.
Twizzler shrugged.
“Whatever,” she said.
Pipsqueeek was attacked by a flaming sneeze, and was killed. She was Enki.
Miyu was attacked by an apple tree, but was protected.
Pickles has returned.
Syrill has been lured away. He may not vote or use role powers, however, he may not be targeted either.
