Nostalgic because I'm back here again... at least for the night. Some things you just can't give up forever, aha.

Let's just say there's nothing more depressing on Monday morning than looking out the window and seeing the foot of snow accumulated over the weekend...with driveable roads. >_> Damn snowplow kept pace...I should go back to sleep...
No, I never officially left; yes, I am gone forever. I have also permanently left AIM. If you need to contact me, drop a line on LJ. Same username.

My hand hurts. Grading papers sucks -- especially when 90% don't know what demographic transition is, and I have to write it over and over... Grrr. I'm supposed to be done and at my parents' by now, but I can't leave ATL until I'm done!

Blue graffitied on my signature... But it made me laugh, so it's all good!

Freezing
I'm back at my parents' house in upstate New York and while I've missed them, I haven't missed this blasted snow and frigidness. I'm ready to go back to Florida and I've only been here for about three hours.
On the upside, I was expecting massive delays today and we really only had a delay of a little over an hour, which I was lucky enough to know about before our first flight this morning. Though, why would you leave a plane in Philadelphia over night when there's supposed to be a snow storm and the plane is supposed to be in DC for its first flight the next day? Sometimes the FAA and airports don't make much sense to me.

Very, very...very.....very depressed...about something in particular...and talking about it will exacerbate* the situation, which sucks, because minus all other factors, talking really helps the emotional part of my brain...so yeah, no good.

Tired, but not too exhausted. I think the next week or two at work will be a little on the crazy side, but on the plus side, the person I'll be working with permanently (and share the lab room with) seems to be a reasonable person with a decent sense of humor.
Also, excited cause I get to see averly tomorrow!

I feel Spanish at the moment.
And I really want a Big Mac, too. Yum.

Re: How are you feeling? (Split)
My stomach has been bothering me for a few days now
Other than that, I'm good though
I've been chatting with a good friend for a while this afternoon and I had a video conference with my cat in Florida through the computer just to make sure she was okay... It was adorably cute.

I am feeling Good and Bad.
Good - I will have a second income from the 5th of Jan.
Bad - My feet hurt from working at the boxing day test. Then I've got to work at Summerdayze and then I have all these one dayers. Ugh what a pain.

I knew she was based on a real life character
Edit: Oh, I feel like I want a glass of water but I refuse to go downstairs as my neighbours are over.

Wow, I don't envy you that. Which company are you working with?

I only play poker well when I'm sufficiently under the influence.
Also, I'm feeling stupid because I meant to post this under "What did you learn today?"

They won't leave me alone!
No, not the voices in my head, I like them, the people in my past.
On the bright side, I haven't had a proper industrial strength crazy turn in months.

Re: How are you feeling? (Split)
I feel a bit torn; someone is asking me to take a shift at work tomorrow and I really do not want too. Granted, if I don't take it, someone else has said they'll take it but I feel bad. I mean, I'm meeting with friends (who are visiting from Ottawa) tomorrow and I don't want to rush from work to meet them.
