If you enjoyed last year, or even if you didn't you might still like to vote on the Best of 2008!

Cast your vote today and have your opinion heard. It also doesn't hurt that you will receive neopoints and a prize for participating!

(so far no-one has received the nps.)

Thank you for voting on this year's Neopies. As a token of appreciation for participating, you've received Winged Jhudora Petit Four!

Please come back on February 3rd to see the final results!
*There is a variety of random prizes given out.

I got a Keyring Case Background. Honestly though, it seems like the options were randomly chosen. I've never heard of the items before.

Do we know how they picked the items we're choosing between, because I'm surprised that some of these are favorites?

I would think/hope that the games and neocash items were based on number of plays and purchases respectively, but i'm not sure how they picked the best item (none of them seemed very good) or the best advent calender animation.

I may just be disappointed because I received the entirely useless and ugly

I got A Krawks Grey Day. Frankly, I didn't care for either the np or neocash items we got to choose from, but at least they had the Sloth Plot as one of the event options. Here's hoping Ylana Skyfire wins. <3

I got a rubber youyu ball (or however you spell that darn thing's name). I agree that the NC and NP items were kind of lame too -- is TNT going for quantity rather than quality these days? I thought the news days chosen were terrible. I voted for Jhudora Day only because it had such a funny misspelling (staring instead of starring).

I also voted for the Sloth plot. I would have voted for the Daily Dare because I thought it was really creative and the concept of a new game-final challenge was awesome, but the execution was lacking (Mac users not being able to complete the Roothless challenge and certain prizes still not delivered).

Still, it makes me look back at the last year in Neopia and go, "oh, yeah, this is why I don't play as much anymore..."

As long as TNT can get Billy Crystal to host, I think this is an awesome idea.

I hate that the Oscars are being hosted by Wolverine.

I got Pink Coral in a Shell Pot, actually, even though I didn't vote for it as the Best Neopoint Item...

I got Doctor Sloth Hair Pomade.

I agree that some of the choices must've been chosen randomly.

Couldn't agree much more. I just clicked on a few things semi-randomly, and got a disappointing item in return (Mutant Chia Gnome or something...). Glory days of Neopets, where have you gone!? Oh yeah, now I remember - you left together with Adam and Donna.

I got a Pink Coral in a Shell Pot! ...hurray?

Anywho, I have to agree with Pardona and Siniri here. I was quite disappointed looking back at last year and what happened--or didn't happen.
