Less dead, but it hurts a little when I take deep breaths or laugh. It killed me last night to watch Dirty Jobs with the goofy old lady in the duck plucking factory.

Welcome back Bruces :)

I'm sooooooo tired. I've finally gotten a handle on this organization thing (just a wee bit), so now I have time to do things I enjoy. Like lurking the net. Woo!

As usual my hands are cold, so it's difficult for me to type today!

I'M LOSING MY MIND.

Aside from that, weirdly upbeat.

Or maybe it's 'as a result of', not 'aside from'. Hmm.

Tired, but satisfied from track practice. 1200m repeats are tough, but fun.

Elated. I had one of the most amazing experiences of my life yesterday. I got to prepare and serve lunch at a local homeless drop-in centre with fellow nursing students. So. Much. Fun. A few of us went around serving tea and cookies, met some very interesting characters. We also set up a health fare at another drop-in centre. It was a bust because no one came, lol. However, we went back to the first centre and had our little health fare. Me and my two other group members were teaching foot care in the context of type 2 diabetes. We got to assess the feet of one woman, which was both educational and saddening. I got to see, up close, the damage of frostbite.

Drained, but good: beat my own timing for 2k today, in my K1 --> sprint kayaking.
