It's that time of year again! The nominations for this year's Emmys have just been announced!

(Hey, no Two and a Half Men for once!)
This is probably an even more interesting category than Best Drama Series. The Academy certainly seems infatuated with 30 Rock (it got 4 out of the 5 nominations for best writing, which certainly wasn't what us Pushing Daisies fans were hoping for--excuse me for being bitter), but I have a funny feeling that something else will win this year. Of course, I don't watch any of the other shows, so this will be a tough one for me to decide on...

I voted for Weeds.

I've been a fan of Weeds for some time now, but I must say that this season they have gone above and beyond my expectations. The writing, directing, and acting in each episode is stunning. Mary Louise Parker deserves an Emmy of her very own!

I'd just like to say that I'm stoked that Flight of the Conchords is nominated. I love that show <3. That being said, I think 30 Rock will win this year. Psh.

I would like for The Office or Family Guy to win, just because I am an avid fan of both shows. 30 Rock is my runner-up choice if The Office or Family Guy don't win.
