Blue light when hibernating
How can I turn off the blinking blue power light when my computer goes into hibernation mode? I have a two year old dell desktop. how can i turn off the blinking blue power light when my computer goes into hibernation mode?

You could rewire it so that the light doesn't function at all. Otherwise I say just cover it up, because that blinking light is a reminder to you that it IS hibernating, and not turned off.

There shouldn't be any light when hibernating... everything in RAM is written to the HDD and the power goes off. Standby yes, Hibernate no.
That said, I like Jacob's idea to re-wire it. Sounds like fun
