Blue light when hibernating

How can I turn off the blinking blue power light when my computer goes into hibernation mode? I have a two year old dell desktop. how can i turn off the blinking blue power light when my computer goes into hibernation mode?

You could rewire it so that the light doesn't function at all. Otherwise I say just cover it up, because that blinking light is a reminder to you that it IS hibernating, and not turned off. :roll:

There shouldn't be any light when hibernating... everything in RAM is written to the HDD and the power goes off. Standby yes, Hibernate no.

That said, I like Jacob's idea to re-wire it. Sounds like fun :P
