Aaaand battling has begun again. Seems more likely that the Sway will be a threat than the Brute Squad (*cough*basedonsomepeoplesrecentbattles*cough*) so I'm putting my efforts towards them. Really hoping we can help Daze and Siniri get that avvie/site theme this time!

Very glad I was able to get a new modem this morning and get my internet back up, as our old modem up and died last night without any warning.

Thanks for the info, P. I randomly fought the Duchess today, but maybe I'll stick to her the whole weekend. Got 102 done today without even trying too hard. I'm aiming for at least 400 total; we'll see if I can go above that.

Woot, managed to get 300 wins against the Duchess this afternoon. If I don't have time for anything else this weekend, I hop that at least helped!!

LOL, I'm just evenly hitting the little guys so far. I might actually be up to 18 today.

I do like that jar of brains, though. After being blasted by Snowie this morning, the Healing Springs was gracious enough to heal 15 HP (she is getting better at that – not). I was able to lens flare, YB and Brains myself back up to full 435 HP in no time

I would have done way more by now, but the battledome lagged terribly for me last night and today I had a very nice day out with my daughter.

It is Friday here, so tonight when the kids go out for the weekend, I will have glorious peace to battle away.

I have pledged 2200 wins, this evens out my battledome scores (basically the only thing that keeps me focused on doing so many).

So far, I've managed 60 mighty wins - evenly split against the two opposing factions.
Nowhere near Daze's phenomenal 2,200, but not bad for me.

Lol Blue. I pledged, but haven't made it yet, I am about half way with just over 1000 mighty wins.

I probably have way more time on my hands that most, but I haven't been feeling well, so my enthusiasm has waned a little this time around.

Congrats on getting some good hits in Blue. I notice you have been busy getting our posts back, which must be time consuming.

Just over 24 hours to go. I will be happy to see the end of this skirmish.

ETA: Discussion on the BOSS happening on BDC.

ETA2: Thieves won! I am so happy to put the angst of it all behind me. I am still going to compete in the skirmishes but not as madly as before. I would still like to neaten up my battle record.

Woohoo! Glad we all have the full sets. I also went with the stock boon. Like Daze, I'll continue to skirmish and hope I get the boons, but I'm not going to stress about it.

Daze, what's the BOSS? I missed the last day of the skirmish. Did they bring back Greed, Apathy, etc.? I'd go on the Neoboards, but... they're the Neoboards!

I did a few battles during the last hour and didn't see any boss - no old ones, no new ones. Just the usual opponents.

I went with the stock boon, but of course, there's no stocks at 10 right now. <waits around for stocks to go back to 10>

Daze - is BOSS what the group of "anti-bandwagoners" (or whatever they're getting called) is calling themselves? I've lurked on the boards some, when time and interest permits, but I hardly ever post anywhere but the NC boards, and even then, that's rare.

LOL, yeah, sorry guys about not explaining.

The Trollwagon is a much better name, but this group that goes against the majority has called themselves B.O.S.S, although I don't know what the initials stand for (something to match their bigheads I presume).

They started out as the anti-bandwagon but due to all the backlash, they decided to not always go against the majority all the time, which meant the Thieves got a look in this time.

The leaders put inbetween 8000 - 14000 wins and then proudly boast that it only took a small dedicated group to win. My point to them was, if you take out all those extreme scores, the BOSS team would not have won. Other teams such as on the BDC and on Charter were putting in thousands of wins as well.

But anyhoo....Thieves won, we now have all the avatars and we can rest up easy knowing we don't have to do the skirmishes if we don't want to.

ETA (30/09) SKIRMISH 12: Brute Squad, Seekers, The Sway

The Sway have the better boons, but I haven't decided yet what faction I want to join yet.

Sway's boons would be best - mainly because of the Refresh FQ one. Otherwise, I'd probably be using Right Round Round Round again. Meh. I'm tempted to join Sway, just because of the boons, but I'm not sure yet.

I bought some FQ fortune cookies when they were on sale, so I joined the Sway in hopes that we would have the FQ refresh boon as a choice again. I'm not sure the boons actually are the same each time, but we shall see.

I bought the cheap FQ cookies as well, so heres hoping that the sway win (and the boons are the same).
