The monster is usually found within 3 floors as you start today. You get to keep all the treasure found on that floor. The monster is found at the exit. So if time is an issue, just head for the exit.

Once the monster is found, you cannot do anymore rooms.

Naturally, I couldn't come right home afterwards. Nope. Had to give a review to the night supervisor, because all reviews must be done this week. Might even be tomorrow... best look into that.

Then, as I'm finally driving home, I remember... Power company has a planned power outage for my house tonight

Fortunately, I was able to get through 3 levels and find the blue monster
Even better, I noticed that we get to keep all prizes collected on that last level, one of which is a Sporkle Syrup

Ah, all is well in Neopia for me. I only managed 23 levels, but I'm happy that I got the monster.

Today there was another conversation update, but nothing else. I'm really hoping for something when the news goes up, because A) the conversation update was rather anti-climatic, and B) to have nothing exciting on Halloween is a rather big letdown.

Apparently the TBC was just to get to our prizes? Anyways, they're out now:
No clue what the requirements are yet...but I'm pretty sure I got all of the prizes.

The Tamed Mini-Monster is an actual Spooky Petpet. Does that mean the monster we chased wasn't a transformed Neopet? Or did it simply "waltz" right into the eating contest? Apologies if this plot point was glossed over by me. Too busy mesmerized by the idea of a Tamed Mini-Monster.

I would like a little Tamed mini-monster, but I didn't complete enough levels. (I'm assuming that reward was based on levels accomplished). But, they're crazy insane expensive.

I'm leaning towards this was the case. Mr. P got grumpy about the levels in the last few days, and didn't quite make it to 100 (he was at like, 97 or something when he found the monster), and didn't get the mini monster. My bet is, you had to make it to level 100 for it.

And wow, I did not realize how expensive they are until you mentioned it, Blue!
