October 23, 2003, the day after they made a change to the system for the games.. Meerca Chase was giving out like two fishneggs in a row and the system must have flagged my account for freezing from it, because that was the only thing I could think of that did it.. And I did fill out the autoform at least once a month and emailed those that I could, along with snail mail.. and this was the first time I got a response of any sort! *sigh* Gah, must pull out of pity party mode right now and give up, that's all there is to it.
Amazing what one can come up with when one is given a cardboard box and a roll of duct-tape!

Exactly why I would never even contemplate becoming a mod. Pulling duct tape off of my fingers (mouth?) day after day would get old fast. To all of the mods on PPT, you are saints in my eyes.

Same reason why I would never be a teacher. Love those kids, God bless 'em, but not enough to be with 30 of them 40 hours a week for 40 years.

Agrees with Morningstar...to all the mods here  <3 You're all so great!

I actually enjoy it, even though it can be difficult. I'm finding that I can actually help people and make a small difference. The difficult part is the people who just won't listen or don't care about things like...the rules! I'm trying to get more complete rules instituted on the forum I'm modding on, as it's fairly new and things need to be tightened up.

It's also shown me to have an even greater respect for the monitors and Support at TNT, even though I don't always think there's a good reason for a warning or freezing (there have been some truly WEIRD warnings lately - but they seem to be auto things). They have an amazingly challenging job and many of them really do try to help us. I just wish there were more Support team members. That would make life easier on the staff and on all the members. The staff wouldn't be so backed up that it takes months (if ever in some cases) to get any response, and the members would feel like they mattered, because they did get a real reply.
