Re: The Limerick Game
Siniri has just said a lot.
But it is time that I have not!
I would like to play,
but no time today.
No play at work, lest I be caught...

Re: The Limerick Game
This week has been a slow start so far.
Mondays only move at the speed of tar.
Can't wait for home,
And eat some honeycomb
Only an hour before I drive off in my car!

Re: The Limerick Game
Here is a topic having a slump
That really needs a good whump
It might be terse
But here's a verse
To give that topic a bump

But here's a verse
To give that topic a bump

Re: The Limerick Game
Blue scribed a verse quite silly,
Like a foot-splaying cross-eying filly.
I one-upped him by force,
but he won't, of course,
Beat on this dead horsey now, will he?

Re: The Limerick Game
Oh, sure, the verse was quite silly
But I'm not beating that filly
This thread is great fun
Here's another one
I'm sure you enjoy them, really

Re: The Limerick Game
Blue attempted to give us a limerick,
but his brain didn't stew long to simmer it.
He gave us a poem,
but heading for home
He forgot that the last line should rhyme the first.

Re: The Limerick Game
It is dialect I suppose
and how you pronounce words like those
Say, "Po-Tay-Toe"
Say, "Po-Tah-Toe"
and you'll hear my outstanding prose

Re: The Limerick Game
Blue bought a mattress from Sealy;
he thought it had a nice feel. He
bounced on it. "Fun!
This is how one
talks when one is in Cali, like, really!"

Re: The Limerick Game
Talk about poetic license!
Siniri writes with defiance,
Taking the time
to make the lines rhyme
Only with dialect, silence

Re: The Limerick Game
There once was a pet from Faerieland,
Who, when asked to give a cheery hand,
Replied with a frown
"You'd better turn 'round
Ere I grind your dumb craft down to nearly sand."

Re: The Limerick Game
This thread is awfully stale
That if it were sun, I'd be pale.
'Tis time, I believe
to give a reprieve,
and post a groan-worthy tale!

Re: The Limerick Game
There once was a gaming company
whose employees were called TNT.
But they all got canned
thanks to the man.
Now JS drives players to lunacy.
EDIT:
There once was a game long abandoned,
That PPTers all once had a hand in.
They thought it dead
'til it raised its head
And Siniri blew and fanned it.

Re: The Limerick Game
This thread was as dead as the pharos...
Just waiting for someone to compose
Then after a while,
Blue's face cracked a smile
Because Siniri posted a prose
(Yes, Siniri is 3 syllables)

Re: The Limerick Game
Siniri's name has three syllables,
claims Blue, who's sometimes gullible.
You just might bounce
to find it's pronounced
"SHE-knee-ree" - ain't it incredible?
