Okay, that was excruciating. I managed did my regular plus evened out against Thieves (I had not played a full set due to lag at some point), and a full set against Brutes. Normally, I'd try for 2 or 3 sets...but not when the lag is THIS BAD. It took me waaaay to long to get those battles in...

I hit a streak of about 10 minutes last night where I was able to get ~3-4 battles in per minute, so I'm up to 40. (It took me half an hour to get my boons, and then I think I might have accidentally gotten extra boons because the lag made the BD forget I'd already maxed out... I'd already deposited and hadn't counted, so I'm not 100% sure if maybe I got the max-out message early. Another fun glitch: even though I can one-hit the bosses with Warlock's Rage, I somehow lost 200 HP between battles; the HP reappeared and then disappeared before settling on "disappeared." At least it wasn't a permanent loss; I've been afraid of even visiting the ninja school after reports of glitches that took away 500 str.)

Thankfully, I found a streak time tonight with similar speed and managed 25 or so wins, which is good since it's only 90 minutes from the cutoff time!

I got the avatar and site theme and chose Black Market Goods, as it worked really well for me last time. Although I am thinking I should have gone for the Stocks as I need to make some serious nps (and also get that stockmarket avatar).

I only managed 53 wins. I hit a 2-minute lag-free streak again last night for 10 more wins, and then it took 15 minutes for the next 3 wins, so I gave up.

Yay for another victory! I chose the stock boon. Hope I remember to buy at 10 each day....

Woot! Wish we'd gotten the bank boon, but since we'd've gotten the stocks one if we'd gone with Thieves anyways, it's a win-win - we get the same boon, and Daze and Siniri's friend get the site theme/avatar.

Apparently I got the avvie again? Yeah glitchiness. I managed 125 wins between the two, so not too bad, but not my best.
Not sure if I'll be able to participate at all in the next round.

YAY Bandwagon! I am so happy there was a lag-free window last night. The first few days I tried went nowhere. I managed 1 battle across 3 days . I went with the stock boon this time. One stock I bought last time paid handsomely this week

At this point I am happy with any of them, but I do like the boon - Cheaper by the Dozen - Thieves.

I'm tempted by the quest-refreshing boon, though we'll only get four days use of it for the Faerie Festival. But if you open a cookie, you could get 11 days' use of it... And a lot of people might be trying for that one right now, so it might be the best chance for Daze to get that theme, since Order is usually not very popular. Then again, maybe those people won't actually battle, and it'll hurt our chances...

Meh. I'll wait to see what everyone else thinks.

*headdesk* I forgot that the Faerie Quests would still be going on. Order is the very best choice, as the Refresh Quest is a very good boon at this time. I have some FQCookies, so that could be very beneficial for me.

My Battle Pet has zoomed through the training since the quests started, so I will be taking on some bigger challengers now. I am going for at least 100 Mighty wins. Hoping to do more. Just saving up now for a decent weapon.

Took the refresh quest boon, and would you believe it, first use of it and I get a crafting quest. So angry!

Oh, ugh, Daze! I guess we should change our language to Chinese before refreshing the quest. Good to know. Sorry you found out the hard way.

I just managed to snag a FQ cookie for 50 NC, so I can get double the quests. (I assume you can use a cookie during the festival... let me know; I'll be opening it after work this evening.)

Yep, you sure can use a cookie during the festival. I bought 6 cookies with the free nc I got, and have been using them during the festival. The cookie shows up at the top of the faerie quest page.
