Not to worry! I couldn't really use any boons, so at this point, I am just after avatars.

This week is:

Seekers
Awakened
The Sway

I need the Seekers and I really, really really want the Book Smarts boon (I have been saving up my books for my pet). Seekers also have Bank Bribery.

This'll be a tough one. Sway, or Seekers? Either one has the Bank boon, which is my favorite, but having both up against each other makes it a toss up as to who will actually win. I'll go with the band wagon on here...

ETA: Since no one has started a bandwagon, I'm going with Sway, since Mr. P wants to use another FQFC he has sitting around, and that has the refresh boon in addition to the bank boon.

Well, Sway wins most of the time, so I'll join the bandwagon. Daze, we can get you the Seekers boon as soon as they're up against not-Sway, hopefully... Or maybe you'll get lucky and beat us (assuming you went with Seekers).

I barely had time to check; my taxes were complicated this year, but I reached a point where I could figure out how much I should owe (not too bad...) so I could pay on time (I rounded up so I won't have any penalties). Filed an extension so I can accurately figure out my deductions, etc.

I'm happy to say I've contributed significantly more than my usual. In fact, I don't think I've put in that many wins in probably almost a year. Anyways, I figured with such a likely-to-give-us-a-hard-time opponent, I should try to do extra. The lack of lag has helped a lot, too. Here's hoping we get the boons!

Woot! It was worth it! I even remembered to check for boons before collecting interest. Mr. P will be happy when he gets home from work!

I put in 250 total. I'm still not sure, with as much as is always going on around here, how I got that many in. I guess I'm not used to the non-lag.

I didn't get to battle until 9:30 last evening and between the lag and dozing off, I only got 40 wins in before giving up for good at ~10:45. Glad it was enough, thanks to everyone else's efforts!

I'm enjoying the bank boon.

I decided to go for the Stockmarket boon, as I still need that avatar as well as needing more nps.

Wouldn't you know... The stock market, or the stock market boon,* is broken. As of yesterday, I have not been able to buy cannot buy 10NP stocks. Yesterday evening, I thought that maybe I had already bought stocks that day. This morning, I know for sure that I didn't buy stocks today.

*ETA: I cannot buy stocks at 15NP, either.

I can't buy stocks, either. Apparently the site was down for a bit last night, and TNT managed to break more things. Who knows if they actually fixed anything...

Ironically, my stocks page was "broken" before they "fixed" things last night - it was showing the actual stocks only if I scrolled waaaaaay over to the right. However, I can't buy stocks today, either.

LDSC spiked, though...selling worked just fine. Shame I only had 2k of that...

2nd day of not being able to buy stocks. Rotten timing for the stockmarket to break.

Apparently there was a major glitch with the Stock Market, one that gave a major advantage to those who used it. So once again, those few who profit from such events, cause the closing of another feature. HOw long now before this is either fixed or taken down.

Things are just going from bad to worse.
