Re: AC XI
Kreludor and Maraqua are bracket buddies... JS really has been working on things since the start of the Cup. Like most of Neopia, they knew where the two ACGs went (though not that the bigger one split in half), and that's why the brackets were shaken up for the first time since this system started. (If the mass-freezings actually stick, hopefully this won't hurt Zil's team too much, since Kreludor will no longer be a threat -- even though they weren't really much of one to begin with.)
JS weren't kidding about how seriously they take this. I didn't give them credit because Viacom just gave us lip service for years.
BV's currently ranked 5th in its bracket. It remains to be seen whether their scores will come down to reasonable levels today. The good news is that they're not in the same bracket as any of our teams, so we've got 6 days before it really affects us. Then again, if their scores remain the same, we'll be in their bracket when the points are higher... We can only hope JS continues to work as diligently as they have been since the beginning of the Cup.

Re: AC XI
JS paying attention and actually doing something about it is very encouraging, indeed.
I have not given any attention to the standings or brackets (other than what is posted here). I am just playing YYB, MSN and SOSD when I have time.

Re: AC XI
Congrats, Blue!
It's time for a PPT showdown: Tyrannia vs. Roo Island.
Maraqua's and Kreludor's scores are still really low. I hope the legit players there get re-motivated now that the cheaters are gone. I feel really bad for them. I know if my team were full of cheaters, I'd be sending the absolute minimums, and once they were gone, I'd feel bad that their scores might help us, but since they were cut off so early and punished in that first bracket, I don't think anyone at all is holding it against them anymore. They're usually tough opponents. (I'm assuming TNT kept to its words and isn't counting the frozen accounts in their denominator beyond that first day.)
Brightvale's scores went down a little, but they're still the strongest team right now. It remains to be seen whether any more cheaters are identified; they might really be that strong.

Re: AC XI
Yep. Congrats, Rooligans! We're facing Kiko Lake today, who got 1 less point than us across the games yesterday. A very tough match.
It appears that TNT has gotten a bit overzealous in freezing some of the top legitimate players. I really thought that they had created a foolproof way of distinguishing between the cheaters and the legit players, but I guess not. (Though I guess you can never really know who's legit unless you know them in real life... and even then, I've heard of siblings or roommates getting their counterpart's accounts frozen due to the shared IP address.)
Brightvale's scores have gone down and are now in line with the other teams. It'll be interesting to see how things shake out in the finals bracket; right now it seems like the berths in each tier are up for grabs, and then who knows what will happen when the chips are on the table? Should be exciting.
I kind of would love to be a fly on the wall in the ACGs' forums to hear what they have to say about being (apparently) locked out of the Cup. Maybe they'll consider it the end of Neopets (for them) and move on somewhere else. Probably wishful thinking, but if they do, I say good riddance.

Roo Island
Day 9: 3 wins/1 loss against Moltara
Day 10: Play against Kiko Lake
It seems that Moltara focus on YYB. It is the only game they win.
Somewhere a group of Rooligans must be making a play at Slushie Slinger. We are doing well in that game.

Re: AC XI
Congrats, RI! We lost SlSl for the second day in a row (with a score of 5).
BV's scores are back up to their shenanigans level. Hopefully JS investigates and finally catches the cheaters there. (I wonder if JS only applied its detection methods to the two teams it knew about that first day, and the BV cheaters temporarily suspended play until they could work around JS's new fixes. I know TNT in the past had created fixes, but since they left sign-ups open, the cheaters just created new accounts and were back at it in a few days. I hope this isn't the case, but the fact that BV's scores never took the huge hit that Maraqua's and Kreludor's did is worrying; they just went down to "normal" levels for a few days. If this is the case, hopefully JS has something else up their sleeve and has finally noticed the shenanigans on that team.)

Re: AC XI
I had 6465 points in the staff tourney (forget how many NP that was). Thanks for the info, Daze! Like you, I picked the highest scores from the first round for the second.
After two losses in a row in SlSl, there was a massive rally among Tyrannians to fix that, since that used to be "their" game. We got our score up to 7 yesterday (after two 5's in a row)! Wow. And it seems like no one slacked in their other games. I maxed on mostly full-length games, until I reached a point where I realized I had to do shorter games or run out of time. I had nearly 50k points in SlSl yesterday. Phew. Not sure I want to do that again, but if that's what it takes for my team to win against KL (who gave us one of our losses, and whom we're playing again today)... *sigh* At least it's a weekend.

Even though Lawyerbot didn't do so well, I am sticking with the same team for this week.
