I signed up with Roo Island again and received the signup prizes.

I also signed up as a Rooligan again. Gotta stick with them, even if I may or may not play much this year.

I received the frame, and an "Eventide Yooyu" which really looks like a plushie yooyu, but either way, it's cute.

I have been choosing whichever team on which "Squeaky" plays. He is the only Lupe on any team, and I have followed him since he was traded from Brightvale. This year, he is again playing for Roo. So, I too went with Roo. Woo-hoo.

Game 1 is against Tyrannia.

I decided to buck the trend and join Meridell this year. I was feeling kind of medieval. We're playing HW today, but I just got started, after being away from home for 17 hours today (including hiking 11.5 miles up and down 2 mountains). So tired... My goal is to at least max SOSD today, and play for NP in the other 3 games. We'll see...

LOL, Blue! That's a high bar you've set for yourself. I bet you can do it by just playing the 4 games 3x/day for the NP. Or just play like 2 minutes of SOSD per day.

I'm only at rank 3. I need to step up my play if I want to reach AS by the end.

The top 9-10 teams all seem really close together this year. I had heard that the big ACG wasn't joining a team this year, after JS stymied them the last two years, and it certainly seems like that might be true after yesterday's scores. Every team is in with a shot - including MD and RI. This might be the most exciting AC in years.

Edit: And I just heard that the other ACG joined FL - and there are the suspicious scores, on day 2. *sigh* I feel bad for VP getting the L against them, but the new scoring system reduces the impact of losing to a single team, at least until the finals. Hopefully JS starts flagging the cheaters - and only the cheaters - today.

Apparently the new team avatars are only available for the tournament.

As I am playing Shenkuu, I noticed what looks like a Lupe. Sure enough, Shenkuu has a Lupe: Timu.

How 'bout that?

I've not done a single game yet. I haven't had the time, and the little bit of free time I have enjoyed, I've been working on something totally different. Maybe, I'll take some time today, if I finish all my cleaning and finish my other project.

ETA: I just played a game of Slushie Slinger, for a break in things. My *first* game of the year, mind you, and I got a 773. That's my best score since AC VI, when I got a 775 as my all-time high.

Congrats, Pickles!

I just found out they lowered the requirements for All Star. You could theoretically make it in 45-50 minutes of play per day during the 23 days of the tournament. Not too shabby, but still a decent amount of effort required. I should be able to make it; I'm just on track for it. I've been playing a lot of SlSl, so it's taken me a lot more time than that, but I'm going to put more effort into the games that give more rank points per minute first, and SlSl after I've reached my goal for the day.
