Neoschools officially dead?

#1 Post by Scream »

http://www.neopets.com/neoboards/topic.phtml?topic=33231305

Basically the gist is that someone emailed TNT and got this response:

Thanks for writing in. The Neopets Team regrets to inform you that the Neoschools won't be coming out. However, please keep an eye out for some of our other projects! Have fun

Also its been pointed out to me that Neoschools has been removed form the Coming Soon page. Forgive me if this has already been discussed but I haven't heard anything about it.

The Coming Soon page thing has been discussed before... (Like a million times :P ) but I never knew if it was officially cancelled.

It probably has been cancelled and probably won't ever come out, but I do not believe that that person actually got such a response from TNT.

is this really the first time neopets has said something was going to happen and didn't? I mean a prime recent example would be the sloth plot. I'm not surprised in the least.

I don't know if I believe that or not... hadn't we just gotten news that they had problems with it and it would be coming out later? Or was I just dreaming...?

I am in total denial, so I don't believe the first post in this topic at all.

*bangs head on desk*

I am glad they finally admited it,if it is real. I lost hopes ages ago. I really dont know how it would work, anyway. Now that I think about it,the chances are slim its real. Why wouldnt they announce it like the Dr. Sloth plot?

I know they lie all too well... just, it would give the magazine a bad image, as well as disappoint its readers if they suddenly announce Neoschools were canceled and there is no sneak preview coming. :x

They might've cancelled the sloth plot ages ago, and neglected to tell us until recently...

I ain't really sad to see it go, when I first heard about it, TWO YEARS AGO.... I knew it wouldn't be as big a hit as the Battledome had.

EDIT:

The sneak preview could always be just a blank page, lol!
