I wish I were around for Neopets' board times so I could suggest it somewhere it might actually be read. I feel like it could be a relatively easy fix.

Snowager: Race to Riches Scratchcard
Bonus: yet another Tasu...

And awww, today's animation was really cute. I felt so bad for the poor Mynci at first.

I've seen that sandman quite a few times lately. I was not aware of how many memes there are about fall/winter in Florida until this year. (I apparently hadn't friended enough meme-posters since we moved until this spring).

Here's a few:
Top 10 Florida Memes
My son keeps saying it's going to snow on Christmas. This meme is for him:

I'd like to note that it's currently 74 outside. Our current predicted high/low for Christmas day is 75/55.

...After 4 years in a city with "real" winters, growing up in a city that at least had some semblance of fall and had cooler winter temperatures, even though it's our 4th "winter" here, I'm still not used to the warmth.

Eh. It's in the 60's here, so it's not really that different than Florida. I've had to scrape ice off my car when I visited my parents at Christmas (they're an hour north of Tampa, an hour and a half west of Orlando), but I've also gone to their (heated) outdoor pool and been able to dry off on a towel the day after Christmas. Then again, I've also had to jump from pool to hot tub to giant towel + sandals still dripping as I dashed back inside to not freeze.

We even had 3 weeks of Indian summer (temps in the 90's) in Virginia Beach back when I was a kid. My mom made we wear long pants (actually, this was a dress code requirement at the time), a long-sleeved shirt, and a coat in case "the weather broke." My school was not air-conditioned, and I was overheated every day. We went to the beach the day after Christmas that year. No one was really swimming (water temps are usually in the sixties at that time of year - I don't know if it was warmer that winter), but my dad and a few other men rescued a porpoise beached on a sandbar.

(The dress code was changed to allow shorts after the football team at the local high school all wore mini skirts to school one day, and the school board decided it would rather have all pupils in shorts than boys in skirts, though I don't think they officially banned the latter...)

Oh, my grandmother's neighborhood (in Ocala FL) had a sign for free snow removal. After she'd been there for about 5-10 years, they actually had a substantial snowstorm, and all the seniors in the neighborhood called the office for their free snow removal. They took down the sign and never did do any snow removal (thankfully it melted after a couple of days).

We used to get snow every 3 years or so in Atlanta, but usually only a dusting (and just as likely an ice storm). But the last three winters, we've gotten it every year, and we've definitely had much colder weather even than when I moved here twelve years ago (and natives confirm that the current is unusual) thanks to climate change and an increase in polar vortexes (basically, the jet stream has a bigger amplitude, so it brings cold air from farther north much farther south than it used to). But the last two springs also came earlier with much hotter weather sooner. This year, we seemed to skip fall and go straight to winter, but we keep bouncing back and forth between cold rain and warmer weather. I don't miss the cold rain that typifies Virginia winter (and that I've never seen here before - usually the cold is dry here).

Bonus: Snowberry Tea
Snowie: Grarrl Keno Negg

Talking about hot weather!! I know it is summer here, so it isn't a surprise but 39C/102F today (1st day of my Christmas Shopping!) and tomorrow is expected to be 41C/105F. The weekend and possibly Christmas Day will be cooler and maybe low 30s. We will see!

It was rather pleasant here today, too. I was in Alabama earlier this week and thought it was rather pleasant. 39F (not 39C!) in the morning and mid-to-high 50's in the afternoon. No rain. Very nice, really.

I completely agree that dry cold is much better than wet cold!

It's borovan day already?! Wowsers. Christmas is coming fast.

Wow, Daze! Here's hoping your Christmas is a bit cooler! Today it's back to the cold rain. High of 45/7, low of 41/5, and rain all day through to tomorrow afternoon - at which point it will start dropping and freeze overnight. I really hope the rain dries before it freezes. Oh, well, it will melt by around noon on Saturday either way, with a high of 50/10 - at least it won't be raining. Right now Christmas day doesn't look too bad: high of 56/13, low of 41/5, 0% chance of rain. And then the rain returns on St. Stephen's Day. Blargh.

Gah, another non-negg-point-negg. Ah well.

It has rained almost non-stop all day today (finally having a short break from it). It's supposed to continue raining through the night. Yuck.
Dry cold is DEFINITELY better than wet cold. It feels so much colder when it's a wet cold.
And Daze, here I thought our Christmas was going to be warm. But then, it is your summer, as you said! Hopefully it'll get a bit cooler for you, though!

So jealous... more rain, followed by cold. Yuck.

Snowager: Grarrl Keno Negg
Bonus: Snowberry Delight

The most impressive part of the wrapping job in today's animation is that none of the materials used were actually on the messy work desk! Some kind of magic to transform them into the desired colors, I guess!
