Signups for the AC start today. Link to sign-ups/Main Page here

Bonus for 15 years of continual sign-ups:

No pop-up notification or anything for me. It just showed up in my inventory...
I went with Roo Island again this year. Same reason - They are the only team with a Lupe! Go Squeaky! :)

Rooligans forever. Yep. That was the easiest decision I've had in a while.

Isn't this thread supposed to be in the plot council?

BlueEdit: Yes. Yes, it is. Thanks. I moved it there. *smiley*

You're the best, Blue!

June 2, 2020:
AC has started. I maxed out on SOSD this afternoon during the kids' "quiet time." Didn't take anywhere near the whole of the time, so I had plenty of time to do other things as well. Tally-ho!

Playing Shenkuu today. Looks like a Pink Lupe on their team.... Sure enough, I was mistaken. They, too have a Lupe. No matter. Go Roo!

I made it to rank 5 today. My goal of maxing SOSD every day was ruined on day 1 when I fell asleep while playing and woke up after midnight NST, but I made up for it with other games on day 2. Trying to play a bit extra, but I doubt I'll manage double AS this year. I've got a lot of other stuff going on that's more important. I've been on the streets three times this week, and a busy weekend planned, too - another street demo in my town, a rally with young black people sharing their stories of police violence in my church's town Sunday, and I'm leading a rosary for racial justice at my church after the rally (pending my pastor's approval). All appropriately socially distanced and peaceful, of course.

Nice job already achieving rank 5! I am just happy to have played a few games so far. Good on you for "taking to the streets" for what I can only assume are peaceful demonstrations. Stay safe!

Staff tourney is up! We have until Thursday (or maybe Wed. night?) to pick our teams. I need to look at last year's, but I'm up trying to figure out who I'm actually voting for tomorrow, so that'll have to wait...

JN's last year Staff Tourney Guide
I went with the same team I used last year: DJ Skellington, Senor Malo, Kikocat, Scrappy, and Binary Supagoo (chose Binary Supagoo as the star player this time)
Who knows if the numbers of new names will upset it this year?

I've been maxing out SOSD every day so far, and sometimes playing some SS on the side. This means I'm currently on Rank 9, which I consider the absolutely ugliest rank trophy there is. At least tomorrow, I'll be off it.

I was glad of the Bye day yesterday. Things this week are extra busy for us, and yesterday was particularly grueling. When I finally sat down to my computer super late in the day, I was glad to not have to worry about AC.

I picked the same team as Pickles. DJ Sally outperformed Skellington in the last round, but she needed time to find her groove. I went with kikocat as the star player because she really was last year, getting more than (or nearly) twice as much as everyone else.

I picked the same team as Pickles, tool. I had already picked my team from memory, but then went back and swapped someone (I forget who) with Supagoo.

I did not get to choose the star player though. Might have been my ancient browser. I went back in today with FireFox and the popup appeared. Also went with kikocat for star player.

*Must remember to update team each week* (This was my folly last year and missed a week of points!)

The pop-up for star player is quite dysfunctional. It's broken like the obelisk sign-ups. It's worth refreshing a few times and making sure it "sticks" - a friend had to select hers three times before it showed after the refresh.

Thanks. It does appear to be a bit wacky. Changing players is a bit wonky, too.

Okay... so that's... times 4... carry the 7... ah! Given your chosen team's performance, you've earned yourself 4522 Neopoints!

Binary Supagoo let us down! Ehlo Froyo kicked everyone's butts! Debating switching them out...

Looks like Miss Rainbow might give DK Skellington a run for his money, too.

van Doodle of Tyrannia is actively seeking out game hints to do better:

I'm swapping binary for ehlo. I hadn't looked at Rainbow yet...

Okay, so I was amused enough by the picture in the news when Van Doodle was introduced the other day, but that thread has me giggling. Also, it's kinda fun that he actually posted.

...not gonna lie, I'm kinda wondering if Van Doddle and Scrappy are siblings? They're drawn to look pretty similar. (Sorry if this is actually posted somewhere and I just totally missed it.)

Ditto for me: Okay... so that's... times 4... carry the 7... ah! Given your chosen team's performance, you've earned yourself 4522 Neopoint

Swapped out the goalie as well. Went with kikocat for all-star again.
