Summary: Visit the hub for a clue, find the cog for each of 7 days.
Visit the Wonderclaw page and click on the Nigel on the side of the screen for a daily prize.
The special prize might be an avatar?
How long will the Wonderclaw Event last?
The Wonderclaw Event will last for 10 days, from August 13th-23rd. Nigel the Chia will be handing out prizes on the Wonderclaw event every day of the event, but Bigsby’s scavenger hunt will only last for 7 days. How long will Bigsby’s Scavenger Hunt last?
Bigsby would like to get his machines running in time for Neo York, so his scavenger hunt will begin on Aug 13th and end on Aug 20th 2026 (end of day). Day 1 of the event will actually be two days, running through Aug 14th 2026. The final prizes will be awarded on Aug 21st 2026, but you can come anytime after the event ends to claim them. How long will I have to claim my prizes for Bigsby’s Scavenger Hunt?
You will have until 23:59:59 on August 23rd to claim your prize for Bigsby’s Scavenger Hunt. The avatar can be claimed any time after the event ends, however, though you do need to collect all seven Wondercogs before the event ends! Will there be any special bonus prizes?
Yes! There will be a few different kinds of bonus final prizes (including a Premium final prize) awarded at the end of the event. If you want a chance at all of them, then do your best to find all of Bigsby’s Wondercogs on each day they are released! Do I have to collect all the Wondercogs on the day their hint is revealed?
No. You can miss a day and still participate. As long as you find all the Wondercogs within the event period, no matter which day you claim each Wondercog on, you’ll be able to claim your prizes!
*Clank!* *Clank!* *Chugga-chugga-chugga...* *WHIRRRR!*
Bigsby: And that'll do it! Another machine nearly finished. Just a few more steps and the Wonderclaw arcade will be ready for operation!
Nigel: Great to hear, Bigs. But what's the exact ETA on that again? See, the shareholders don't like waiting, and-
*Doot doot-doot doot doot!*
Nigel: That'll be them now. I gotta take this. By the way, Bigs you've got a customer.
Bigsby: I do? Oh, dear. I'm afraid the arcade isn't open yet, chum. But never fear, I'm on schedule to get everything operating soon. Just a few more adjustments to the machines left to go, but I'm a few cogs short of a clock at the moment, I'm afraid.
It'll take me some time to get the parts I need, so in the meantime, I'll have to ask you to—
Nigel: Change of plans, Bigsby! The bigwigs want to move up the timeline. Expedite the returns, speed the deliverables, all that jazz.
Bigsby: Buh— Wha?! Nigel, I understand the impatience, but I can't work with what I don't have! And it'll take a few weeks for me to get the Wondercogs I need, and then put them in place and make sure everything's working...
Nigel: I get that, Bigs, I really do, but you know how things are. Can't argue with what they want. But, hey – lookie here, we got someone rarin' to get to the arcade, and you need a helping hand I can't offer due to my own deadlines coming up. Why not work out some kinda trade deal, here?
Bigsby: A deal, you say? Well, if our friend here is amenable to it... it would certainly save me a few ticks to have your help fetching some of the parts I need!
Nigel: That settles it, then. And we'll reward ya for your efforts, promise. Just come back here every day to help ol' Bigsby here find his wondermawhozits-
Bigsby: Wondercogs.
Nigel: Yeah, those things. He'll tell ya where to find them, then you can come see me at the Wonderclaw arcade to get some free Wonderclaw swag for your effort. Deal? Deal.
Bigsby: ...Goodness, he's a quick wheel-and-dealer. But he's an honest Chia, and a good friend, so I promise he's good for his word. As am I! So thank you in advance for helping me out. Shall I tell you now where you can help me find the first Wondercog I need?
Clues:
Day 1: Bigsby: Brr, it's cold in here! That's what I get for fixing the arcade's AC first... Actually, that reminds me I haven't visited my old friend on Terror Mountain in a while. It's because I'm not a fan of the cold, but I really should stop by his workshop sometime soon. He might be able to help me tinker with these machines!
Day 2: Hrm... I've been struggling a little bit with this machine here. I'm missing a particular shape of cog that's not easy to get; it'd take a special bit of magic to just find one. We may need to consult an expert craftsperson to make us one custom instead. You wouldn't happen to know any artificers, would you?
Day 3: This machine's nearly ready, but its internal mechanism is made of a very particular type of mineral. In fact, I'd go so far as to say it's not of this world! We'll have to search high and low to get the metal we need, but even if we find it, we may not be authorised to take any home...
Day 4: Oh confound it, this machine's got my head all spun around! Even without the missing Wondercog, I can't make heads or tails of what's gone wrong, and it feels like I'm just running in circles. Maybe it's time I took a break and did something to make me happy.
Day 5: Have you ever gone deep-sea diving before? I must say, there was a time I was hooked on it! Saw all sorts of ruins, too – makes me wonder if we'd be able to find any scrap metal we could use on the ocean floor. Of course, we'd need a way to pull it up to the surface...
Day 6:That's odd, I could have sworn I ordered the parts I needed for this machine... Wondercogs don't come cheap, you know, and the shipping was exorbitant! I can't believe - ah, hold on a second, it seems I forgot to have it delivered to this address. It'll still be at the depot. Would you mind picking it up for me?
Day 7: Whew! Almost done. Just one more Wondercog and this machine will be ready to go. The good news is: I have one right here! But the bad news is that it's... a little worse for wear. Nothing a tinkerer couldn't fix, though, especially if they've got a hot forge to work with, and access to a well-equipped workshop. It may be time to visit another old friend of mine - thankfully, this one makes their home where it's hot!

As you enter into Donny's shop, he looks up from one of the toys he's tinkering with. You can see that the inside of it is full of clockwork, cogs and springs, and wonder if any of those will work for Bigsby's machines.
"Can I help ye?" Donny asks, gruff. He's probably not happy that you interrupted his work, so you quickly tell him that you're there for Bigsby Shadington, and that he needs some special cogs for his arcade machines.
As you speak, Donny's face lights up. "Bigsby? Why didn't ye just say so!" Donny laughs and gets up from his seat, offering you a coffee. You politely decline, and he busies himself searching for something instead. "I'm sure I got a spare cog or two lyin' about here. One o' them special ones he's always needin'..."
He rummages around in one of his many workbenches, and pulls out a strange, unique-looking cog. That must be a Wondercog! "Will this here do ye right?"
You tell him yes, and thank him for his help. He sees you out with a smile, and says, "Once he's done with those blasted machines, make sure ye get ol' Bigsby to come round for a visit, would ye?"
Congratulations! You got a Wondercog!

It hasn't been easy tracking down Iridesia since they started working on the restoration of Faerieland, but eventually you manage to find them by the Rainbow Fountain, having a chat with Naia while they fiddle with some artificing project, using their magical multitool.
"Hello, there!" Iridesia greets you. "Is there, um, something I can help you with?"
You tell them all about Bigsby's arcade repair project, and their face lights up as you go into detail about all the clockwork and machinery Bigsby is working with. You might glaze over a few of those finer details, because you're no expert, but Iridesia seems to fill in the gaps just fine.
"From the sounds of it, Bigsby needs a special kind of cog," they say. "If you'll give me a moment..."
Sure enough, all it takes is a moment: Iridesia pulls a piece of misshapen metal from their toolbag, and using their multitool and a bit of rainbow magic, they're quickly able to shape it into the perfect fit for Bigsby's machines!
"I hope this will help you," Iridesia says. You assure them it will, and thank them profusely for their help. It seems to make them very happy!
Congratulations! You got a Wondercog!

As you approach the Kreludan Mining Corp, the imposing, hulking figure of the S750 Kreludan Defender Robot comes into view. It glares at you with its big, red eyes, and tells you, "YOU DO NOT HAVE AUTHORISATION. GET OUT."
You try to protest, asking if you can speak to someone, but it's no good. A loud rumbling echoes throughout the atmosphere, and the S750 Kreludan Defender Robot lifts an arm to aim a laser at you...
You brace yourself for the laser, but but the impact of the blast never comes. Just when you're about to walk away and rethink your approach... BOOM! The ground quakes and something bursts out of one of the craters in a plume of smoke. It's... pieces of scrap metal? You use the confusion to run away from the S750 Kreludan Defender Robot and avoid the gently falling debris, but as you run, you spot something interesting floating in the "air."
It's a Wondercog!
You make a mad dash for it and jump up to catch it. The low-gravity environment makes it easy, and you snatch up the Wondercog, deciding not to question your good fortune.
Congratulations! You got a Wondercog!

You took Bigsby's words to heart, and decided to help him relax with a nice spin on Roo Island's Merry Go Round. When you get there, though, you realise there's no music playing, and the ride isn't moving... but there is a Blumaroo tail sticking out from behind the central column. You decide to investigate.
"Excuse me, chum," Bigsby starts when you reach the Blumaroo fiddling with the ride's machinery, "but is the Merry Go Round out of service today?"
"A little twist here, a little turny doo-dad there, and... DONE! WAHOO!" The Blumaroo you found springs up on his tail, arms thrown wide in excitement. There's something in one of his hands, but you don't get a chance to ask, because he cheers, "No sir-ee! It WAS out of service, but I fixed what's been jumbling the jacks in there, and now we're all set to spin again!" He laughs and tosses whatever was in his hand aside, and... it's a Wondercog!
You ask politely if he needs it for the Merry Go Round, and he says, "Nope! That's what was getting everything all jammed up, and I don't mean the kind you put on toast. If you need it, it's all yours! But, uh, don't put it on your toast, either. Or scones, or biscuits, or..."
He goes on like that for a while, even when the Merry Go Round starts up again and all three of you take a ride. Oh well, you've made a friend, cheered Bigsby up, AND gotten yourself a Wondercog!

There's a calm, peaceful atmosphere at the underwater fishing cavern today. There aren't too many Neopets about, so Irving Finnegan is going about his business, humming a little tune while he sorts out bait and hooks behind the counter in his shack. When you approach him, the Maraquan Grarrl cheerfully offers you a rental rod and as much bait and tackle as you need, but you tell him you're looking to catch something other than fish today.
"Ah, a magnet's what yer after, then!" He nods and pulls one out for you. "Just tie it onto yer line, same as a hook, and ye'll be all set."
You do exactly what he says, and then cast your line into the fishing vortex. There are a few tugs, and you even manage to pull up some gears and springs and stuff, but no luck with Wondercogs. Still, you keep trying; but just when you're about ready to pack it in...
"That'll be the big one!" Irving calls from his shack when he sees you frantically reeling in your line. And sure enough, when you pull up the magnet, a big, intricate (albeit rusty) Wondercog comes up with it!

You approach the worker at Grundo Warehouse's front desk, and tell him you're here to pick up a parcel for Bigsby Shadington.
"Shadington? Can I get an address on the parcel? How about your ID? Oh, and if you're picking it up on someone's behalf, I'll need a signed note..."
It takes a while to get through all the formalities and bureaucracy, and two more workers have to be called in, but eventually the Grundo at the front desk hands you Bigsby's parcel. Finally! You thank them all for their hard work and for upholding the standards of the postal system, and you mumble to yourself that Bigsby better be grateful for all that.
Congratulations! You got a Wondercog!

"The heat of Moltara is something else!" Bigsby says, wiping his brow as you enter Tangor's Workshop (suddenly, you wonder if Plushie Skeiths can sweat). Thankfully, it's air-conditioned in the workshop, and you feel the relief wash over you as you're greeted by the green Mynci who owns the shop, and his purple Yurble sister.
"Tea?" Vere Polnicek asks, not even looking up from her workbench. Tangor, on the other hand, gets up to greet you properly, and gives Bigsby a big old hug.
"Long time no see, pal!" he says. "How are you? And how's Nigel doin'? I heard the two of you were hanging out again, been a while since the three of us met up."
Tangor and Bigsby exchange pleasantries and catch up on things. Bigsby tells him about his arcade restoration project, and Tangor nods along, getting excited when the topic of Wondercogs comes up. "Vere!" he calls. (Vere doesn't look up.) "Oi, Vere! Toss that box o' cogs over here to me, would ya?"
"Sure thing." The box comes your way, and you're glad it's sealed, otherwise there would be quite a bit of mess to clean up. Tangor pops it open and rifles through it, muttering to himself as he does...
And eventually, he pulls out just what you're looking for.
"Here you go, buddy!" he says, tossing a Wondercog to Bigsby. "Let me know if you need anything else. For you, it's always on the house."
Congratulations! You got a Wondercog!
Ah, you must be one of Mr. Shadington's friends. He's got me here keeping an eye on the arcade while he's busy fixing the machines. Happy to do it, of course – and the best part, I can keep an eye on my investments from here! You should check your stocks too, by the by, and buy a few more while you're at it. But I digress. I've got a gift to give you on behalf of old Bigsby. Take it, and don't forget to come back for the grand opening on 8/21.
Now if you'll excuse me, I must get back to business. *Ahem...* Buy, sell, buy, sell! Spotted Weewoo

Nigel: Time's up, big guy! The lineup outside's a mile long, and the guests are getting eager to pluck their Widgets into those Wonderclaw machines. And if we don't open in time, the shareholders will have my hair... You understand how expensive my hairdo is, right?
Bigsby: I understand full well, old chum. Fortunately, with the Wondercogs our friend here has helped me get, I've been able to finish off the last of the machines! We're ready to get back to business!
Nigel: That's what I like to hear, big fella. I'll go make the announcement – and call the investors!
Bigsby: You do that. I'll open the arcade!
Wonderful Work!
I can't thank you enough for all your help in fixing the Wonderclaw machines. I've been wanting to get my arcade up and running again for a long time now, and without your help – and Nigel's investment – I don't think I ever could have made this dream a reality.
I don't have much to thank you with, but please, take this Widget to play one of the Wonderclaw machines with. I've replenished all the prizes, so you should be able to pull something nice with it! I'll place it in your inventory, so come see me in the NC Mall's Wonderclaw Arcade whenever you'd like to use it.
Congratulations on completing Bigsby's Wondercog Hunt! You've received a Widget as thanks! Bigsby Shadingtons Wonderclaw Widget 1-pack Neo York Collectable Charm (Premium only)

Thanks Pickles!! I am glad PPT was up long enough for you to post this, or I would have completely missed day 1!
Fingers crossed that PPT stays up long enough for posting this week. It is running better, but it isn't great just yet. It does seem to be self-recovering better for the last 2 days.

Erm... HEY. I would have absolutely preferred to accept the Donny's coffee. Hmph. lol
Bad news: day 1 being extended meant I got a green check instead of gold. Sent in a ticket with a screenshot proving I completed it on day 1. Hopefully they fix it, but if not, whatever. I'm so over this site. I'm not reading those walls of text. Why am I still here again? Oh, yeah. You guys.
Blue graffitied on my signature... But it made me laugh, so it's all good!
Oops, forgot to share day 1: Spotted Weewoo
Day 2: Neo York Subway Station Background plus 49,604 NP RE on the page where I found the cog.
Another green checkmark. It's weird that they say day-of matters for prizes but aren't giving us a way to confirm it's recorded correctly. Obviously we're going to expect that they'll do it the same way they have for other events for literally decades at this point. Oh, well. I don't regret sending the ticket.

I am sorry I poofed after the first couple of days. Real Life has been....special....this last week and a half.
First post is updated, as I WAS still copying out the clues, etc, along the way.
Premium prizes:
Premium: Punk Rocker Hot Dog, Garlic Mynci Pizza, Well-Aged Hot Dog, Nachos and Cheese, Sandwich Tree, Pink JubJub Gumball Machine
The charm goes on Charms III, in spot 10.
A few notes:
Wonderclaw is now allowing you to play again. This is the NC game that has been gone for ages. You CAN still go to the game page and collect prizes from Nigel for a few more days! I will be updating the first post with that.

The ongoing server issues certainly did not help. For now, things appear to be finally running a lot smoother! (Dare I say that it seems to be a bit more robust, too? Making a few recent changes have really helped point me in a fairly solid direction on what to work.
I missed day 7 because I fell asleep and woke up at 3:37am. Thankfully I was still able to complete it before getting the final prize (which I got all but the premium prize). So I only missed one daily prize for Nigel (plus reset on day 4 for Trudy and quest log).

Glad you were able to complete it, Siniri! They did say there was time to get all done for a few days after the event. I think Nigel (& prizes) will be there a few more days, but I could be wrong.
I received the charm. Almost didn't get it because I had not worked my way back to the "NeoYork" page to claim it. Also picked up the Avvie Woot!
