Do any of you remember NNN? Things like this started heppening to it. Glitches and problems coming up like weeds. They couldn't take it and the shut down. What if neopets shuts down? Or what if they start charging people to join so that they can keep the population down? I'm scared.

well, they have told us many times that they will never charge epopel to play the site but they might do something with restricted areas where people have to pay to go to them. Just a thought.

NeoNewsNow is a fansite. Neopets is not. I think you all see where I'm going.

That's like saying that because NNN shut down, AOL might not work anymore.

The day before it got shut down the admins and mods were having a little bit of fun, seeing as the site was being shut down anyway.

Yeah, I used to go to NNN for awhile. It was all a big hissy fit among each other that shut it down, nothing to do with glitches. I can't believe I used to like NNN more than PPT...not to mention they used to call PPT "spoiled, obnoxious, overrated, don't care about anyone else other than themselves". Pfft. I think it was the other way around, people there were awful.

Indeed, and you were one of them. If I remember correctly. You actually seemed to enjoy NeoNewsNow. You're not and you never were Staff at NNN. So really, you have no idea why it got shut down.

I don't think he was saying the two are directly related, as much as he was just thinking about NNN and it made him wonder about what would happen if neopets closed or started changing.

If neopets shut down... I don't know about that. I certinly wouldn't want it too, but I don't know how I'd react. It'd depend if it was sudden or a slow decay. Luckily I don't think we have to worry about that any time soon.

haha... I agree with that totally... er, actually, i dont get the 2nd part, but I agree with the statement that Neopets IS the main site, and that NNN was just a fansite of neopets.... I would say that it is more like saying that if buddyicons.com goes down, then AIM wouldnt work anymore....

If neopets got shut down that would be cool.
Neopets needs to be shut down.
It's no longer the community we all deserve.
It's just a money churning ad cruncher.
If you even talk about blocking one dollar your ice.

Same here -- I understand the second part, but the comparison is too wide. NNN to AOL is too far apart. More like if... err... I dunno. XD

I really don't think you should insult Neopets on a Neopets fansite.

Not the smartest thing, buddy.

Agreed. Oh, and advertising your anti-Neopets site isn't the best move either.

Okay, I may not be addicted to Neopets, but even I wouldn't say this! Bitter, yeah.. But this is.. well, pointless to say the least. All I'm going to say on this now.
Amazing what one can come up with when one is given a cardboard box and a roll of duct-tape!
