I'm just wondering if I'm alone in the world of classic rock fandom. I really like The Who, The Doors, Black Sabbath, The Beatles, Three Dog Night, and Aerosmith (their OLD stuff), among other things. Anybody else? *watches tumbleweed roll on by*

Mmmmm. *looks at play list* The Who, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Bowie, etc. Heck yeah. :)

Edit

How can I forget the 80s!? Duran Duran, INXS. Good stuff.

Don't be afraid to see the truth, even if no one wants you to. Be yourself and not a fool. Don't ever be afraid to speak your mind and listen to criticism. Dissent is keeps our country progressive and willingness to challenge yourself is what keeps yourself ever evolving.

i love AC/DC, The Who, The Ramones (<3), Janis Joplin, etc.

I'm also a fan of 80's rock like Duran Duran and a huge fan of Pink Floyd. Floyd can do no wrong in my eyes.

I absolutely adore The Beatles, Queen, and Pink Floyd (mostly for Dark Side of the Moon, though.) Would Creedance Clearwater Revival be considered Classic Rock? o_O *shrug*

The Who, the Beatles, but most of all, Pink Floyd. *nod nod* Jackie?
Jackie: We don't need no education, we don't need no thought control, no dark sarcasm in the classroom, teacher leave them kids alone.
Danelle: Hey, teacher! Leave us kids alone!

That would be a no to the classic rock question, then. ;P
I like some classic rock. I was never a fan of the Beatles, though. I'll probably be shunned by Spira now.

if it wasnt for classic rock you wouldnt have those pop punk bands of today. infact music would be alot different.

even bands we consider rock today were country back in the 70's. Sweet Home Alabama? yeah. in the 70's that was country.

as for Blink? might do them a favor if you spelled it right.

as for you raiu...please check your spelling. its quite a stretch to call yourself a fan of a band if you cant even get the spelling of their name correct.

I'm a huge fan of 80s rock, myself. Classic Rock is good stuff, don't get me wrong, and I'll turn them up, but nothing gets my blood going like some good Ratt or Van Halen.

It's actually really weird - I went to the David Lee Roth/Sammy Hagar concert two years ago with some friends from college, and we were the youngest folks there by 10 years.

Anyway, some of my fave groups, in no particular order:
Metallica, pre-Load (yes, even the sellout black album)
AC/DC
Floyd
Van Halen (mostly roth, but some Sammy is alright)
Nugent
Black Sabbath/Ozzy.
Led Zeppelin
Scorpions
GNR
Motley Crue
REO Speedwagon (I'm so ashamed)
Styx
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Queen
Aerosmith
The Who. My interest was kindled by the CSI Series.

Really, I could never get into the Beatles. I'm OK with the Rolling Stones, but I'm really just interested to find out which of them will crumble to dust first. My money's on Watts.
