The New MTV2

Does anyone like the new mtv2. I personally love it. It has more videos than usually. I don't like the regular mtv cause it has less music videos than it does shows. So its a nice change.

didnt know there was an MTV2 to be honest.
i listen to kerrang, in the vague hope somthing i like will be on (as there is right now) but usually im dissapointed.
time to listen to 36 crazyfists' new album online i guess

MTV2 is on my favourites, along with MTV, VH1, ABC Family (Smallville

), Discovery Kids (don't ask

), Noggin, Fuse, and GAS (I love my old shows:D)

Let's see, I have MTV, MTV2, MTV Jams, MTV Spanish, VH1, VH1 Classic, VH1 Soul, VH1 Country.
I don't really watch any of them =P

But MTV2 shows way more videos than MTV which is just weird. Sometimes MTV will show videos early in the morning, or in the middle of the night. It's also funny, it's like they're making fun of themselves by giving MTV2 the slogan: "Where the music's at". Or whatever it is.

Does MTV 2 in America have that thing where people e-mail in comments and they show them? There was a hilarious one about Crazy Frog I can't repeat here due to language.

Um, the MTV2 that I get doesn't show anything BUT videos, so I don't know what you lot are watching. But yes, because it only shows videos, I like it. Plus it's played My Chemical Romance, The Weakerthans, etc. ^_^

Same with mine.

Rogers cable was offering channels from 100+ for free for one month. I was addicted to MTV2. I can't tell how much I begged my dad to get it. I love MTV2. They showed Evanescence a couple times. Whereas Much Music never does.

I'm kinda like 50/50. Because the videos are shown more but I don't like the new look. Espcieally the logo, its to big.

I don't know much about it, except they sometimes promote it on MTV. I only know of "Video Mods"--which just kills video games' rep. and it makes me almost cry in despair.

God, why does MTV ruin so much?

The MTV2 that I get shows shows and videos. But it shows more videos because it has a video countdown every day and it shows that countdown multiple times each day, whereas MTV has a video wake up for an hour or two in the morning, and TRL at 5pm EST.

I don't like the changes they made to MTV2 though. The stuff that tells you about the video you're watching like the title and all that stuff, was put in the middle of the screen and blocks the whole video. I mean what the heck, why not put it back in the corner? I can understand they're trying to be creative but blocking the video is stupid.

And I do not get their new 2-headded dog logo at all o.o
