I just finished "Crash", by Paul Haggis. If you havent heard of him before, he was also the man behind the Oscar winning "Million Dollar Baby" ( and he used to write "Due South" episodes, and created "Walker Texas Ranger", but the less said about that the better methinks
Im still at a bit of a loss for words. This is one of the most powerful films I have ever seen, and I have seen my fair share. Much debate abounds about the subject of racism in this film, and the suitability of it in the Movie world, but the sheer force in this film is astounding, and in my opinion deserves so much more of the lime-light than does the simple, cheap showing of a race-issue card. I almost found myself wishing it would end at times, simply because I didnt think I could take one more twist.
Masterpiece. If you have the ability, see this movie.
