How exactly is Kelly Clarkson a bad singer? She did win American Idol and I've seen her perform live countless of times (Aside from American Idol) and she has a wonderful voice.

Being a good singer isn't all about your voice, for it never gets put to good use if you don't have the good songs to go with it. And hers are all about boys leaving her and scarring her for life. It gets old. Fast.

And out of the poll, Kelly Clarkson, Jessica Simpson, Carrie Underwood, Mariah Carey and perhaps Madonna and Gwen Stefani have actual vocal talent.

That comment became void to me when you said Gwen Stefani has vocal talent.

Madonna again.

Meh, 80s Madonna again. Okay, I did like Ray of Light as well, but overall, I enjoyed her 80s persona much more than ones she took on later. Desperately Seeking Susan. ^_-

Kelly Clarkson for me. I love her style, both in singing and in fashion.

I vote Gwen Stefani despite the fact I'm not a huge fan of her solo work (but being a huge No Doubt fan, I must show my loyalty). :)

That's called personal preference; I hate Carrie Underwood's songs but I do think she has a talent singing voice which I believe you were arguing. If not, my mistake.

And being a good singer is about your voice, being a good artist isn't all about your voice.

I voted for Gwen Stefani. I'm a big fan of hers because she is a singer that can sing good and her album is so cool. So I voted for her. I really like Mariah Carey to but I like Gwen better.

Madonna again even though her current song is driving me up the wall, can't listen to the radio or a music channel without having to watching/listen to it.

I agree with Ammer. For example, I like Celine Dion's voice, but I really don't care about her songs or style.

Kelly Clarkson.
