I don't think I could ever come up with which Neopet is my favorite. It's far easier to say which ones I really don't like. As far as species that will never be my favorite: Kiko and Gnorbu definitely.

I don't know if I could pick one either. For me, it's often dependent on color.
I hate normal ixis but I love the faeries and mutants.
Some pets look better as babies or whatnot.

I could definitely tell you I hate all the blob pets, chias jubjubs kikos.

Zafara all the way!

Let's see .. Shoyru's are nice I guess, but as a leading species, lost interest in it a bit. Zafaras are still okay I guess. Xweetoks remain top. x)

I like Xweetoks! I don't have one of my own, but between the other recently new pets, Xweetoks are the cutest :3

There are certainly Neopets I don't like - mainly the Buzz; bugs terrify me - I'm afraid of ladybugs XD (Butterflies are ok :3)

And no one's mentioned the Lupe - so I make a shameless plug

As far as *unpainted* pets go I have to go for Gelert and Draik. I also rather like the lupe, although due to an accident two years ago I turned mine into a pteri...which is now an egg! It's nice having an egg though, it doesn't show when it's cross with me

If you look at the entire list of available pets there's such a difference between some of the old drawings and new ones....par example, on my list the nimmo is just under the ogrin and near the ruki. The comparison is really stark!
