I discovered this while playing to get the avatar last night!

Anyway, apparently you can comlete a level with a complete system that does not touch the Exit Pipe as long as the space before the Exit Pipe is occupied.

Yeah, I noticed that a while back when I was going for the av. Certainly wasn't complaining though, as it was on a level I'd died on 3 times already ;)
