Just reading through old editorials...

I've been reading through some old Editorials because I had nothing better to do, and I found some interesting stuff. Some of these are interesting, some are "ambitious" deadlines, and some are just plain bizarre. Enjoy!

It is ok. Just wait and see The people with the stronger pets will be able to challenge different opponents, and earn more points from that as a result. It just means that if you have a weaker pet there will still be something for you to fight and hopefully plenty of things all all levels of battling to please everyone.

It involves owning a Chia and feeding it a whole load of chocolate. It is super rare though and you may just end up with a rather overweight Chia at the end of the day.

NOTE: In other Editorials, there are similar questions about things like the Garlic Kiko and Jubjub. Apparently, in order to create a "food" pet, you need to feed it a lot of that food. More testing needed.

Hehe its ok. We have no plans to retire any Neoquest II items.

Oooh that is such a nasty idea hehe. I think a lot of people would be very distressed if anything like that happened, but who knows... The Stock Market has been a little too stable recently...

It is totally random when it works. There is no way to tell at what time of the day, or for how long it will be active. Rumour has it on the Faerie Festival it is more powerful than at any other time though!

Space Faerie = Michael Jackson?!

Heh, its ok. That was just drawn by one of our newer artists and they made a mistake. Rest assured the Space Faerie is her old self still.

In my brief sojourn to London I had some pretty gross food, but nothing like this:

Oh wow, you haven't had trifle? Trifle is amazing! Basically you get some sponge cake, pound cake, or madelines and break them up at the bottom of a bowl (glass is better as you can see the layers). You then soak the cake mixture in a little sherry, cover it in fruit salad and then pour jelly (jello) on top. Then when the jelly is set add a layer of custard. When that is set add a layer of cream (whipped or double is best). Lastly decorate with hundreds of thousands (sprinkles) and dig in! The trifle mix is basically a box with jelly mix, custard powder, hundreds and thousands and the cream topping mix inside it. (By the way this won't get you anything in the Neopets recipe contest!) Its a traditional British recipe and is most delicious!

In the same editorial, there was a question without an answer, and to my knowledge, STILL hasn't been answered.

It is possible to win a Kadoatie from the Kadoatery if you look after enough Kadoaties. Otherwise Kadoaties are sold in the Petpet shop for around 18,000 NP.

I knew that, it's just that he was referencing Scurvy Island before the CoM plot even came about. Now that plot is long gone, and STILL no Scurvy Island

. And yes, I did happen upon the editorial where they said it was too much like Krawk Island, but I still like the Scurvy version better.

I knew that, it's just that he was referencing Scurvy Island before the CoM plot even came about. Now that plot is long gone, and STILL no Scurvy Island . And yes, I did happen upon the editorial where they said it was too much like Krawk Island, but I still like the Scurvy version better.

The Darigan Citadel is floating and always night. though it's more of a moving castle than an island.

Color and species? Wow, those oldtimers got all the good stuff!

The question about Kadoaties from the Kadoatery was answered a while ago. It was intended that way, but was never implemented. It is not possible to get a Kadoatie there. Now if only those darn overfeeders would take a hint..

Isn't Lutari Island supposed to be floating too?

If I remember correctly, you only need 1 pass to change basic colours, 2 for anything other then basics colours, and up to 3 passes to change species and colour. One of those "sign up for sponsors and get rewarded" thingies, that was the only way to use the rainbow fountain in the beginning..... and I think it went away for while before coming back differently

Trifle is yummy. Probably doesn't sound appertising the way TNT wrote it.

I don't actually know what is suppose to be in the "trifle mix". I don't think it is a real product.

As stated before me, the kadoatary was going to work that way, but TNT decided against it.

With most old news - things change or are not implemented when first stated or TNT are having a joke with the answer.

Everything looks different in hindsight.

Oh god, I remember the old Fountain Faerie. That was awesome. Too bad I didn't play it too much then. I could've had some awesome pets.

That Fountain is probably my fondest memory from the old days. It's such a shame that my old main got frozen *mourns for her lost Fire Eyrie* :cry:

Anyway, the amount of spam I got after signing up with those sponsors was astronomical. From what I remember, I got what seems to have been hundreds of messages, a lot of them triple-x rated.

Please help me if possible...Im an avid stock fan although ive yet to actually participate. This changed recently (almost) because Im a huge fan of achyfi and wanted to purchase ACFI only to find it not available. Is there a reason as to why when you guys posted it as a new item last week? - pontiacinf

Aye, trifles are yummeh! We have them at christmas, weddings and other special ocasions for after the dinner. YUM!! =P

I think it means the dream topping you usally put on the top layer. They sell it in Tescos! ^^;;

But sometimes you can buy a box of trifle stuff which has three packets, one for each layer. Inlcuding a pack of the sponge bits and sprinkles (hundreds and thousands we called 'em) for to top it off.
