NOTE: There is a seperate location your Quest items are stored at, the Quest Inventory. It is accessible from Neovia and presumably cannot be stolen/traded/etc.
1. Click on the burned down house (lower right part of Neovia), you will need to search the remains of the building for a Charred Locket. There seems to be 10 different places it can be hidden in (one is randomly determined for you). As you hover across the image, look at your status bar for the coordinates your cursor is at (at the end of the link, there is a ? followed by a pair of coordinates).
Chair: 67, 201
Fireplace: 80, 135
Couch End: 147, 218
Bookcase: 150, 115
Wall Crack: 175, 145
Sofa Couch: 186, 186
Broken Stair: 210, 130
Broken Boards: 235, 232
Pillow Spring: 308, 199
Table Leg: 364, 195
2. Once you have found the locket, (Don't forget to actually click the button to take it!) Gilly will be able to talk to the following people:
Leroy (Coconut Shy), Lyanka (Cork Gun), Harker (Bagatelle), Sydney (Scratch Cards).
Simply scroll down beyond the game activity to see the conversation. If you cannot see it and you have the Locket in your inventory (check) then try playing one of the games or clear your cache/refresh the pages.
Look for the following Key words in the conversation, and note the locations you found them:
A) "Why, certainly, little miss..."
B) "Amazing! I haven't seen such metalwork..."
C) "That piece of junk?"
D) "It looks familiar..."
And Revisit those places in the order listed! If done correctly, an extra piece of conversation by Gilly should come up:
"Well, it's clear no one around here is going to help me. I wonder if there might be someone deeper in the woods who could identify this locket. "
3. Return to Neovia and you can now access the Shack

I wouldn't count on any more plot progression until Monday, at least. Most likely Tuesday. Don't worry, it'll be here before you know it.
It's good that they have a seperate "quest inventory" this time around. Hopefully that'll keep people from having to repeat parts of the plot because a key item got stolen or lost somehow. Looks like it'll be similar to the Altador one, tho it's still a bit early to tell.
But at this point, I'm not too concerened about what kind of plot we'll have. Right now I am just loving the art for the comics and especially the map of the town of Neovia itself. I hope that map stays, and those old buildings become shops staffed by ghosts or something.

Hear, hear! I hope for a Neovia paintbrush to dress our pets in Edwardian-style garb.

Yay! It starts
The comic is all up to date now so now for the fun stuff!
Questing.. I think we'll get to fight the Spirit of Slumber.. Perhaps this plot will reward us with a similar weapon to the ROTL!
*claps hands excitedly*

Yeah the next part will probably come next monday.
I've noticed however that the parts are following up each other at a decent rate (3 in a week is good enough for me). I guess as we progress through the story the parts will be longer from each other just like in the old plots. It seems to me that TNT already had the last parts ready and they'r bringing them untill they've got nothing ready left at wich point the waiting will begin

Just curious - how do you get to "The Shack" without the link?

It is a very small link. Left side in the middle. See the building with the big crescent on top? There is a little brown L-shaped structure on the left. Click.
Or do what I did and press Tab.
I had tried the tabbing and moving my mouse slowly over the page but I guess i'm just too exhausted to notice
It is in a tricky little place isn't it.
I know I can click on the link in the first post of this thread, but I was wanting to do it manually.
So Thank you sape789!!

I ended up finding mine by clicking on the picture (Anywhere) and getting the link like this:
http://www.neopets.com/halloween/hwp/ne ... ?hvh=(blah)?153,115
Then change the last two numbers to the ones above (So you end up with ten links).
Then copy/paste them in until you get your locket.
