Photobucket images not loading (Firefox)

#1 Post by Alex »

Now, I don't know what I've done. It appears that I may have possibly blocked all images from photobucket.

...But I don't know what I did, or how to fix it.

If there's any photobucket images around, I can't see them for some reason.

I've gone into the Content part of Firefox, and allowed images from *.photobucket.com (allowing for image servers), but it doesn't seem to help.

That's... odd. Usually it should unblock it after you set it in Firefox.

Do the images load in IE? If not, check your firewall. If they do, then, um... I dunno. :P

Do you have Adblock or an extension similiar to it installed? I believe Adblock will override the user prefs so if some site was added to Adblock, that site will be blocked regardless of the privileges that are set under the options.

Loads fine in IE.

I may have Adblock. I seem to remember getting that. But uh.. I don't know where the settings are (maybe I don't have it?)

Check if you have the extension first of all: Tools -> Extensions. (Linux wise, Edit -> Extensions (I think- correct me if I'm wrong)) If it's installed, Adblock would be listed there.

You can change the settings or alter/add the filters in 2 ways. First, you can use that Extensions window, click on Adblock, and then click the Options button. Or, you can look at the bottom right hand corner of your active Firefox window. Click on it to edit your filters, or right-click for more options.
