24th and 25th February

* Add a bit of sparkle to your Neohome with one of these new windows from Brightvale Glaziers.

* This week's Neoadventure Spotlight goes to kerrychampion4000 for The Quest to find Jerry!.

"A few hours later, Diego wakes up with a pounding headache. Clutching his head, he slowly sits up and looks around him. "Where am I?" he says aloud to himself as he looks around the beach. Seeing a ripped tent nearby, Diego's memory suddenly rushes back. "Jerry? Jerry where are you?"

* The newest issue of the Neopian Times has been released! Keep your eyes open for great stories and adventures like The Beginning of a Legend: The Story of Magax and Dubloon Disaster is Not a Disaster!.

Unfortunately true :cry:

I think Neopets would be much better if they only updated the news once a week and actually released the items within it! They'd also have a lot more time for other tweaks to the site. Like good plots, and releasing plot prizes in the same year...

What is the point of republishing the News in full when it can simply be viewed on the Neopets site?

Yep, a total and utter waste of time and space in my opinion. o_O

Some people don't play neo anymore,but still want to be up to date, and some people can't go on neopets at school or work.

Ugh. The editorial is so incredibly useless, it seems like they answer the same stupid questions every week. I am so frusterated with TNT. Ugh, I need to take a break form neo, it's making me too mad.

I can't be the only one irritated by the "OMG BORING" that gets repetitively posted every single time the news is posted.

What, besides plot prizes, are you people expecting?

In the last THREE DAYS we have had:

New pet colors
New petpet colors
New games
New food
New furniture
New toys
New Neopian Times
New Random Contest
New Beauty Contest
New Lenny Conundrum
New Mystery Pic
New Caption Contest
New Better Than You
New backgrounds
New blog
New spotlights (of all kinds)
New PPL
New fun images
New buddy icons
New art in the art gallery
New poems

Seriously, what else is left? The news is the same as it has always been, maybe you're all just bored with Neopets as a whole, and need to just straight up quit.

I think people are not necessarily upset with the news itself, but what the news represents. A lot of people are saying, "there's nothing exciting or challenging in the news", but they're really thinking that about the entire site. There haven't been any new avatars since October...those are a challenge for people and something to get excited about. Normally, people would get excited about items that are released in the news, but TNT has been taking their sweet time in actually releasing those items to the stores in which they are supposed to stock. On top of that, some of the art that has been released, in terms of pet colors, has not been up to par. And I definitely think that the plot prizes as a whole is the icing on the cake for a lot of people. I think that after the plot prizes are released, players as a whole will be generally happier with things.

as MSP said, mainly the avs and the plot prizes.

But really, the new colors only come because of the pet days. Do you remember the day when they released colors just because?
The new spotlights, PPL, art, contests, conundrums, and NT are weekly things.

What else is left? Mayanspypilot said it best... the challenge. Seriously, the news is supposed to be that: NEW. And really, it's just the same thing day after day. There used to be challenges... heck, the Random Contests are pretty much just new Art contests... where's something new? Plot prizes would be great... but I'd be fine without them if there'd be something new.
Even the new games are really boring after a while. The last awesome new game was Godori, and that was ages ago, and went on and off the site about 3 times.
