Wingoball High Scores

#1 Post by schlough »

Does anyone know where a REALLY good wingoball walkhrough or hint sheet can be found? I've tried all the ones here, but they best score I can get is 1054. That's not even enough to consistently win my world challenges! And the high scores go all the way up to 1090!

I've gotten everything down to the fewest possible seconds, but there must be some better way to do level 11, 15, 16 or 18. GAH. :x

Honestly, I think it's often a great deal of luck.

I'm not sure if this is a widespread glitch, but I have this thing where if a red-hatted gnome takes my ball it turns into a little "mini ball" that actually still works - that is, if it goes past the finish line, it still gives you the round. It's just much slower and doesn't necessarily go in the right direction. What I've found is that if you can sacrifice one of your "first wingoball bonuses" on one of the levels with red-hatted gnomes, you can get the slow ball to stay on the screen during the next round, and it can go past the finish line much sooner than for some of the harder levels. If you throw your actual wingoball, it registers as your first wingoball if the previous round's mini ball goes through. That can give you the bonus plus 229 or 30 seconds if you're quick.

That's all that works for me...that being said, my high school is a pitiful 900. XD

This is a good one.

If you need guides for any other games, this page has links to tons of guides.

I just played it 3 times a day for the last few weeks. Its a fairly easy game to memorize. The better I memorized the levels the better my score got.

In this game, 'skill' only matters up till a certain score. After that, it's up to the capabilities of your computer. When compared to a fast one, a slow computer would take a few seconds longer complete the exact same route.

That's a few bonus points every level.

I'm afraid in terms of after a trophy, you're not likely to get one. I used to get about 1,070 everytime I played, I practiced so much. The problem was cheaters, there are people cheating in the game and getting impossible scores. After this the game was changed a little and started lagging. Once this happened I couldn't even get near 1,070. I'm afraid if you want a trophy, you'll have to try really hard on the first of the month. Good luck, I don't like what I have to tell you. But it's the sad truth. Cheaters are tearing the game away from legitimate players.
