Clothing and the Battledome?
In the future if your pet grabs or somehow acquires an item from another pet in the battledome, and equips this item, will you be able to see your pet wearing/holding this item, even if it is just for the duration of the battle? I think this would be really nice, and the type of thing people would want to screenie. Imagine grabbing the elite battle item of a boss or other character but seeing your pet wearing this!

Re: Clothing and the Battledome?
I would definitely like to see this in the near future.
The whole 'paperdoll' weapon/armor scheme just kinda adds the 'whoa, look at that!' feature to things, and the Battledome shouldn't be an exception. :D

Seeing the weapons would be a pretty cool feature.

Seeing yourself with an Ultimate Attack Chive of Death (or whatever it is called) would be awesome

I am pretty sure that was TNT's intention to see battle items equiped, that was why the pets are posed the way they are.
It certainly will add another level of fun to the battledome, I personally can't wait for it too happen.

In my opinion, TNT has done a great job with the pets, leaving them open to further customization. Although I have no idea how my Bori is going to hold an spear...

This is a pretty bad idea, actually, unless it was optional. A major part of battling is the element of surprise, and having one's weapons visible to the public would remove a lot of the strategy from Battledome fights.

Only doing the battledome for avatars, I would have never thought of that. You make a great point.

Plus, not every weapon combination could be displayed.
Imagine a player has two head pieces in their arsenal. It’s not an uncommon situation: we have several helmets, crowns, and popular items like the Magic Patched Hat. How could those be show in your neopet?
I’d be happy if, instead, they could give us back some of the diverse poses on the battledome, maybe with some animation; I understand this is more difficult than ever, however: it would be a nightmare to draw the different clothes/species possibilities.
Well, we can wait the promissed upgrade.

What if you could only see them? It's a good idea.

Re: Clothing and the Battledome?
What if there was an option to only show them when being used?
Example: you're fighting in the battledome, and use a SOS and Patched Hat (random first two items that came to mind). For that move only, your pet shows up holding those two specific times.
Of course, that wouldn't help the "two hats" situation...but yeah.
I would really like the option to see my pets with their weapons, but I would like to be able to select which ones are viewable and which aren't. I mean, seriously, I can just picture my Uni, holding her blade with her teeth...which wouldn't look particularly fearsome, now, would it?

Isn't the 2player Battledome like the 1player version, where you see what your opponent used after your round ends? If that is the case, I am sure adding your pet holding the item is not going to spoil anything - you opponent still wont see the weapons until the round ends.
I am sure TNT are not going to make the images seen in userlookup/pet lookup while you are battling, it would only be programmed to be viewed inside the battledome.
Re: Clothing and the Battledome?
I'd like it for only 1 Player, but not 2 Player, because your 1P BD Opponents can't "tell" anyone what your set is.
