I just read the FAQ, and they're adding a Transfer feature! It's something that's been needed for a really long time, IMO, and I happen to think it's the best change they've made in this recent round of changes. The pet keeps its petpet and clothing, too, which is a major plus. I can see some avatar transfers being made with this feature.
This is fantastic. It makes me really happy. I'm glad for those of you who use the pound an aweful lot and I'm even happier for those of you whose pets have been stuck in there for so long.

If you use the transfer feature, which is limited to once a month, all items except NC Mall items ( ) and BD items go with the pet
I am very excited about the possibility of being able to transfer pets now! I do wish however we could own five neopets. I have a lab ray just sitting around and if I could get another pet to adopt, I'd host pets and get them all prettified for others!

Yeah, like other people have said, I was referring to the transfer feature when I said pets keep their clothing.

I don't think that's possible. The FAQ says you can't create another pet until someone accepts your transfer, so I would assume you can't recieve another pet in transfer, either. You could probably use a third account to transfer some of the pets, although it would take a reeeeeeally long time if you wanted to transfer more than 2.

Well, I was actually thinking of an existing third account, but I suppose a lot of people don't have that many. The 4-month thing does make sense, though. It'll really prohibit those scammers that used to sell pets in the pound. This way, if they get frozen they can't just go back to selling again.
