'Sup

#1 Post by Leo Aldwulf »

I'm new here. Decided to join after contributing a bit to your Wiki even though I've was using your site for Crossword Answers like maybe 5-6 years ago hehehe. :3

So yeah anyway, you guys seem like a fun bunch. I'm go on Neopets on and off and haven't really kept up with it for the past couple years although I'm getting back into it now. Some non-Neopet interests of mine include Fire Emblem, spriting, anime, and cooking. Good food's always something to look forward to. C:

EDIT: I've been looking around, but I can't find PinkPT's stance on Necroposting. I kinda want to post a bit around the Anime board but the topics there don't seem to have gotten much attention recently. :<

Hey Leo! Welcome to PPT. *hands out welcome cookies*

I think that as far as thread necromancy goes, you're allowed to revive old posts without consequence. I think we'd much rather you just post in a thread that already exists than make a new thread on a topic that has already been started.

Hi, and welcome to PPT!

A couple of questions. xD
What is Fire Emblem?
What is spiriting?
What do you like to cook?

I think perhaps, since you like to cook; you should maybe make us something to you know sample. Since we can't cook very well.. and you know, we don't want you hurt by the unhealthy cooked treats we give the new people. *hides Bya's cookies*

:D

Thank you. :)

Hi Leo! Welcome! Glad you decided to come out of Lurk-Mode! I'm sure you'll enjoy your stay.

Like Byakuya San said, you can revive old posts. There is no hard and fast rule about necroposting, but use good judgement.

The semi-official stance is as follows:
  • If the thread is something which as naturally died topic-wise a long time ago, then starting a new thread is OK.
  • If it is a thread that just didn't receive many replies, but is still somewhere around the front page etc. then it should be fine to post there.
  • Basically, if it feels right and doesn't jar with your sensibilities, then it is fine.
Note: Bumping for the sake of bumping is seriously frowned upon.

Ah, Fire Emblem is a Tactical RPG series so it's like you move your characters around a grid. You could think of it like Final Fantasy meets Chess. :P

Spriting is pixel art, just that we usually mess with "sprites" (usually refers to pictures that usually see in games eg. This is a Pokemon sprite: Image).
I usually make portraits in FE style and sometimes Pokemon trainers. Maybe I'll post a bit in the art board later.

I like cooking, but sadly I'm not very good at it either. D: I can make some soups rather well, though. :)

Awh okay.
Thanks for answering.
Spriting makes much more sense than me reading it as spIriting. xD

Ohh, what kind of soups?

Please note that 3lla nicely hands out a pile of sand. That pile of sand comes in very handy, you know. ;)
