Yep. A few days ago my account was hacked into. I can't believe I was that dumb! I lost a mara, royal, choco and baby. Now I have to restart. And yes, im warning all you other neopians to never respond to those wierd, random emails.

Yes, that is a good rule of thumb.

Very very sorry to hear you were hacked. You will find that a lot of other members have also been hacked.

Good advice to bring up.

Remember: Nobody on neopets staff will EVER ask for your password, your PIN, or any identifying information.

converse.chick.18: When you get the chance, activate the PIN feature on all of your new account's information. Make it a number that you can remember, but be sure to have your PIN on your safety deposit box, your bank, and your personal security (including your password and user preferences pages).

I will say from my experience, whomever hacked my account go through my PIN number through. Even with all the the stuff I knew about security and even talked about it on the PPT Show it didn't protect me. It can happen to anyone.
