Domain Names/Hosting?
I'm planning on making a website, and I'm looking for hosting plans. I'd prefer ones from Australia, but I'd like your suggestions.
Also, I need to register a Domain Name - where's the best place to do that? I've found http://domains.aplus.net/, they look pretty good, but I'm not 100% sure if they'll be ok, so your help is appreciated.

Gone, forever.

I highly recommend InfluxHost. They are very reliable, and the basic plan is a great deal (15 GB of bandwidth and 1 GB of space). They're also very friendly.
If you decide to go with Influx, please use this form: Order Form. Thanks.

It doesn't really count as a real domain name, doesn't give you any space so you have to use a free provider, and gives you pop-ups. No Cpanel either.

I agree, but domain names don't give you cPanel. O.o Hosting providers do, but not domain names.

OKay here is what I did for my site. I searched for cheap domain registration. I got it for 8.50 for the entire year. Then I registered at ripplehost.com for my hosting. 10 dollars for the entire year so all in all, I got my site for less than 20 bucks for a year. They now have different hosting for whatever size you need. You pay for the year in advance. It is php capable and has a forum set up. PM me if you have any questions.

I'm with Go Daddy for 2 of my domain names. The third is on Pinchpenny.
Hosting, I use Synergy Blue. They have a special plan on at the moment I believe. -.0
Globat is one I recall having good plans and Host Rocket has rollover bandwidth.

I recommend http://netrillium.com
Cheap, fast, & 100% reliable. Never had any problems.
I highly recommend Netrillium as well if you want to go with good reliable service. And as for domain names I suggest GoDaddy.com as a good cheap place to register one. They have a good control panel and great customer service.
